Taylor has said many times that something that really bothers her is that so many people dismiss her Talent of The Craft as not being a skill but as being a 'trick' that she does so it's not important or difficult and it gets demeaned🥺 In one of her recent songs she has a line that says "Put narcotics into all of my songs/ and that's why you're still singing along" and a lot of people misunderstood that as her joking because her songs are so 'addictive' but that's not what she's talking about. She's talking about people dismissing her by saying her songs are addictive or catchy (but not that good) which is another way that people deny her talent and hard work.

The fact that she gave $100,000 bonuses to every truck driver on her tour and donated money to a food bank in every town she had a stop at on her tour and did it quietly without making it public says a lot about her. She didn’t go bragging about it. She also donated $100,000 to the family of the woman who was k*illed in the superbowl parade shooting. We only know because the people she gave to made it public. I think it’s possible to get to her level if you have the work ethic and determination that she has. Any criticism people had about her motivated her to work harder. People criticized her singing so she took voice lessons, people made comments saying she couldn’t be writing her songs and just was in the room when her cowriters were writing so she wrote her next album solo with no cowriters, people said she couldn’t dance so she took dance lessons etc. She has said people underestimate how far she will go to prove a point. You have to not only work hard but also not get upset by criticism and use it to work harder at that particular thing and prove them wrong.
