Beautiful footage and editing. One question. How did you do the time-lapse shot? The flight time is only 27 minutes or so. Was it sitting on a nearby building for that shot?
random question, the dji website says "cinema dng 6k apple pro res 5.2k" but it has apple pro res raw up to 6k- is that included in the apple pro res license or only the cinema dng license since its raw?
Hi ! It's nice to have a test of the codec in low light condition. What is your post-prod software to read and process the prores raw ? I'm using Adobe but i think it's not available yet
This is brilliant looking and inspiring (no pun intended), and the sound design elevates it. One question about the blue-banding on the shots of the orange clouds - you say it's just from youtube compression, so is it not present at all in your original export? I've had gradient problems with ProRes 422 exports out of Final Cut Pro X (and Apple Motion) myself, even HQ exports. Sometimes need to go 4444 to remove the gradient.
Great job guys! We also have Inspire 2 X7. There is one issue I'm worried. Look at the sky in 2:33. It's banding badly and you can notice it also in a couple of other clips. What do you think, what is the reason? Is it grading and exporting issue or just a bug in a codec or camera?
Hey Calen, question. We have a I2 with X7 and cannot seem to find the option for ProRes RAW.. we have full licenses as well am completely updated. Is there a trick to getting these settings on the X7?
That is strange. I actually don't own a X7 my self. This test was shot on a friends and I am still on the x5. So I have not gone through the process of updating to the ProRes raw codec.
This was shot in Salt Lake City at sunset. The movements where accomplished with two operators on the inspire 2. A pilot and a camera op. I never use auto pilot. Thanks for watching!
Wow this looks absolutely incredible. Something out of a movie
Thanks!!
This is a serious masterpiece man, absolutely breathtaking
So dramatic, so powerful ! No more words for describing it !
Congreatulation from France man!
Hey thanks so much. Means a lot to get positive feedback.
Sir., this is THE FILM. 👏👏👏
Wow. Just wow.
Good lord this was absolutely amazing! I was waiting for a narration or a title to appear! Absolutely astonishing!
Where is this? Beautiful work. Awesome editing.
It's Salt Lake City. I also live there. Some of my footage of the area. ruclips.net/video/c0mzohBeV0A/видео.html
Interesting how the most famous landmark in SLC wasn't included
@@chairminh I guess we can find flaws in anything.
Breathtaking that’s all I can say I love my new inspire just hope to get that good of a camera on it one of these days. Amazing awesome work.
I have a question how did he shoot 6k on pro res? Dji says up to 5.2k for pro res and up to 6k for cinema dng/raw
This is amazing 👏!!! Great peace of art you've put there... A big respect!!!

This was cut and graded in final cut x
Where is this place and what time of day. Looks like sunset. Just incredible.

OMG i was just waiting for Morgan Freeman to start talking......unreal job!
Very cool video!
Do you have a good workflow for this footage considering its probably a zillion GBs?
It is actually not that large. I just put it on a hard drive and edit it. Nothing special.
Amazing
Did you use noise reduction on this footage? I'm finding the x7 has pretty bad noise in CDNG/Prores codecs but I am yet to try prores raw.
No noise reduction was used. Thanks for watching!!
wow!
What lens did you use for the wells fargo shot at :40
50mm

This could just be RUclips
This banding is just caused from RUclipss compression. Nothing wrong with the camera.
omg ! Quality of this is small bit better comp... to my mavic lol -seriously ......... amazing !!

@@calenalbertmedia Why are you on an X5 instead of an X7?
@@antdx316 probably because the X7 setup cost way way way more
@@calenalbertmedia This youtube video was an X5 shot? S or R?
Good Good Good
What's not to like about this work? Some people are just so mean spirited.
Puts in on youtube where most users are gonna see it at 4k or 1080p
Absolutely stunning video. Love the moves. Have you ever used Autopilot? Any tips on those movements. Thank you.

My God 😭
Dude! This really is amazing! We need to collaborate.
Thanks so much! And yes we definitely do.
