Today in Watcher of Realms we'll review some of the mistakes we made early on.

Been playing RAID for a year now and tbh I've had more fun playing WoR in 21 days than I did all the time playing RAID... moonton does a lot of things right and when they fall short they are open to feedback

100%. You also have to actually think about strategies for the most part to clear a lot of content instead of just auto-battle. Gear is a lot more simple too. LOVE IT.
I love this collab! For me, especially coming from raid as a ftp, the ability to switch around gear as much as I want really allows me to explore the game and different heroes more than I ever could before. Being able to try out new things and builds without having to waste huge amounts of resources (and feel bad because of it) is so much fun!
I feel the same about that raid is a rich mans game at least for me

Their generosity is one of the things that REALLY stands out to me, and it's generosity where it needs to be. Because their progression systems are so deep in terms of awakenings and such, it feels like enough generosity while still not just speedrushing you through the game. You get some really cool champs free but still have to build them out. Really really good approach.

The discussion about how good the free things are actually exposes a different area of brilliance by the developers: the quality of a unit isn't determined by its rarity. I had the initial assumption early on that Legendaries were clearly superior, but I think the Epics are actually the backbone of the game.

The dwarven shop is SO good! I refresh EVERY day I think it's 5 times (stopping at diamonds) even with "end game" account heroes and gear. Buying the blue & purple insignias for promotions with gold saves wasted time and energy farming for the low levels. Plus the cheaper stamina & summons are great. I buy all white & green heroes too for level ups as there never seems to be enough when it comes time to max multiple heroes for an event. I'll stop buying the heroes if I'm "full" due to lack of new heroes to build. but yeah i think that's KEY daily
Don't disrespect Zelus, my first legendary and it pretty great so far. Hopefully later will be still good

Ive been loving this game, but honestly my biggest headache is just haveing no stamina/energy and gold. Basicaly my only complaints, they should have more ways to get stamina/energy by playing the game. Change those 10 energy gifts to 60 energy gifts would be a good start.
I also feel like since Doloras is so impactful in the game they should make her slightly more common. I finally pulled her today after over 700 summons
Also just wanted to point out that the storyline quests seem to be rather good to follow, they seem to actually put some thought into them to help you progress into the game. Unlike raid which tells you to do things you should never actually do in the game.
Okay so here is what you do. Don't spend gems on summoning or in the Dwarven shop. You should be spending gems on stamina potions in the diamond shop. Make sure to save a few in case you want to pick up an experience bonus. Also use friendship tokens to buy stamina. That's it.
I've got 16k worth of stamina potions just sitting in my bank.
As a noob I thought accuracy, if high enough, would make 75% chance debuffs to hit 100%. I had dagger with 600 acc
I make one mistake over and over. Doesn't really affect the game , but it drives me mad... that is hitting fight in arena instead of hitting auto-fight and then having to re-record an auto-fight

There are alot of times I make mistakes for spending so much dias on summoning and got nothing but now on my 79th day I got 19 legos, finished campaigns, tide at lv123, trials at 215, and patheon lv150. Just focus mainly on your core heroes which is mainly use on all areas and also good for arena and guild boss. The only problem for me as f2p is gear swapping I had to make screenshots because I don't want to mess up and checking whose wearing those gears. 😂

The one huge i love about this game is the few gear removal/swapping! makes me want to take time and try new things and push. One huge thing i think raid should do....

Hey! I must say I also like a lot this game and so far from all amazing things I like most: 1.easy access to energy :) they drop from quests, they are cheap to buy, even black market(I refresh until have 5g cost) offer them; 2. I think might be good thing to not use rare champions for quick star up option, we can sell them for diamonds-30 ea ^^, I rather gather up gems even for summon and one and two star champs drop everywhere, can also buy them from market; 3.selling/using 4* champs is never a waste :) they come back as awakening points for shops or 4* thingy to star up champs! 4. No progress on faction wars is still a good thing to farm, green/blue tokens still can be transformed into better one so slowly I can still make a progress!

Its as strategic as a chess game but a million times more fun. Better than raid honestly because you have to actually take time to think about positioning, champions usage, timing. Its amazing.
Fully skilled zilithu. I focused on her first as she was my first lego, but she was awesome at first sight. I have all my legos skilled to first crystal. F2P

Flat stats are only best if like HH says low base stats. Or when it's legendary or lower gear. But once you get to mythic, level 16 with atk% over atk is going to be better for probably everyone, even dolores

what hurts me the most, in retrospect, are 2 things actually:
A - the fact that i wasted all those epic soulstones from tide for some crap, i might have even used 1 or 2 on meriel... MERIEL!
and i completely ignored wrath and dolores who i got really early as well
and
B - probably used around 100-200 rare heroes for star ups. yes, you read that right, i did not sell them, i did not know they would give me diamonds back. such a freaking waste.

Regarding Wrath, they changed the long-in reward from an awakening stone to a duplicate copy of Wrath, so you can sell him for awakening coins if you already maxed him out.

The bit I love the most is the clan boss, as such. Scales on chests so you don't need to hit the top chest for it to be better than the last if the boss is harder.. It always bugged me in raid the lower boss had better rewards in the chest.
i agree with the thing with the shop somewhat because the gear sucks untill you can get like legendary gear at which point you can farm it

Raid vs watcher: time for only one. Which should I play?
Pulled Zilitu, Valeriya, 3 Mauls, 1 Wrath, 2 Dolores, and 2 Vortex today on my account. Could not have gone better!

I'm a week in and farming most levels at about 12. I got so lucky with hero's,
Only one lego but it's cerberus, I have Vortex, Dolores and the elf who shoot across the entire map.. It's crazy.
Flat attack on Dolores is still a bad idea. I don't get where ppl say it's better (unless you're talking about lvl 40 champions). lvl 60 Dolores has 2536 Attack 60% is 1521, is immensely better than 960. On level 60 there isn't an example I can find where flat stat is better than % stats. Very bad advice to spread around Imho.
It's probably aimed at people without mythic gear
He said in blue and epic gear and was talking about lvl 50 and lower
Agreed purple or lower = flat
Gold higher = %
However I'd say the average player isn't watching videos. Along with that people know not to just watch one/two sources of information and know better.

Yeah only better when it's legendary and lower gear and heroes are NOT level 60 (for the most part). that's the advice I give for brand new accounts only. once you get mythic it's not the case
16th day as free-to-play and 2 advices that I can give:
First, is to wait for x2 chance (I believe it comes every weekend) before SUMMONING to get legendary/epic. It will provide huge progression boost to your account. Starter/Free heroes have enough value if use or geared right to pass stages. I'm lucky enough to start this game and summon mindlessly with x2 on and got good epics/leggos.
Another is to never skip fighting in ARENA. Win or lose, you'll get 3 arena coins which were valuable purchasing something in shop.

My only complaint for WOR is the attrition of energy and being able to replace it , I think it's a bit steep as you start doing higher raids , the little potions are a joke and even the availability to buy larger energy potions is a bit weak as for the rest it's shaping up to be a great game I hope Simon is taking notes for Fateless lol I will definitely be checking that out , am still playing raid 4 years in now it's my go to after i run my daily's in WOR
You really need to work on your Dolores, she's woefully undergeared - get a +25 Ancestral Teachings artifact on her and all the ATK Bonus you can get too. Flat attack will not do on her. You should see to get her to 11k ATK at the very least.

The reason crit rate isnt as important here than in raid is because they constantly do attacks. In raid, your nuker does one attack in arena so you want that to be a crit.
My Vierna Full book since I got not many legendary. The others 2 legendary are Lord Hero King Harz and Zelus
hero's path done. Heads up you need to complete expert act 5. You don't need 3 stars on it either

I used to play mobile legends and never felt the need to spend money in that game to progress. Same with this game. Compared to raid this company is 100x better when a pack doesnt pop up every time i go to the camp.

For everyone complaining the game has been stagnant for over 3 years, raid has technically been out for 12 years with beta. I’m sure the devs will make improvements

Can heroes be resetted so that you get back the items invested in them?
i try to check it every hour to help with champ trainning with max cap on champs... also arena shop i try to get daily for that energy (market)

Sorry guys you both have "LUCKY" accounts dare I say content creator accounts. Your pull rates have been crazy good. I am at 389 summons and have only two legos (including the one you get at 70 summons and neither are DPS) and have pulled only 30 epics and yes I did count awakenings. Your generous and so many good heroes statement is off base for most. Your pull rates have been crazy.
Is it worth buying mythic extract for gems? I'm to the point where I can far extreme 1 on all promotion raids and the drop rates feel so low that resource
Not worth it. Slowly but you will get them. Just choose wisely who to upgrade. Save gems for more important things(buying big energy bottles and summon gems)

The biggest thing i HATE about WOR is lack of auto-battles makes the game unplayable. In raid you can still click start on like a dragon because everything is automated. In WOR you need to place your stupid units every single time which is just shit. I really wish it was like raid.
What are you on about? Every battle you can do auto battle on if you get 3 shards and don't use a friends hero. Try understanding how to play lol
Number one tip for me is to quit the app. I can’t progress, have legendary gear at 12 with decent stats, can’t do most of the red coloured stages, stuck at 8-14 with little to nothing to do and no stamina neither.
What’s the point in grinding if it’s just going to be like this the whole time with contestant garbage pulls.

Like the game but saying you just end up pulling a lot of good stuff is quite misleading. Not having epic's on a 2x can leave you going 40-50 summons at a time and getting nothing but an awakening for an OK rare and a bunch of garbage to sell for 30 diamonds and 2 star food. You can really feel stuck in the mud after a couple weeks.
i disagree, Wrath shouldn't be your first A5, Idris should be first, if you have her, she is useful in EVERY content
