Saw a comment that made me want to quickly clarify! I realized I forgot to say I was also prescribed .1% tret prior to curology, and I had no irritation with that. I just used .025% the longest so that was stuck in my head 😂 Happy Monday have a great week! ♥️

I honestly love curology and will continue using it. I feel like because of all the ads it’s become gimmicky when in reality I feel like people are not putting enough emphasis on how awesome the ingredients are and the process. When I first ordered curology, I did it because I had never done skin care before and thought it was a cheaper option. Now I can say, my first formula saved my skin, I have sebbhoreic dermatitis on my scalp and with that very dry skin all over, my first formula was focused on dryness. My skin was so dry that the sides of my nose started peeling and bleeding and my first curology bottle completely changed that within a few weeks. I was shocked, that was 4 months ago and I have still not experienced dry skin or bleeding again. Now my formula has trentinoin for dark spots, I’m excited to see if it will help.

@@maxgoldin2001 hii! I still use curology! My formula still has Tretinoin! Have seen some improvement in dark spots but only a little. I reached out to the provider from curology. She said dark spots take months and even a year to improve. But she said consistency is key with dark spots! So what I do now, is I stretch out the curology subscription As long as possible to save money. One bottle could last me 4 months when I apply it only where needed!

I love Curology. It is meant as a program for the long-haul. You see results the longer you use it. I find their customer service is great and it is an affordable way to get tretinoin as insurance in the US doesn't cover that. I started at a very low tretinoin percentage and now I am up to .9. I have only had an excellent experience with Curology and have been using it for more than 2 years. I think it is important to point out that it works if you use it for many months, in a regular skincare routine. It has transformed my skin.

The thing I love about Curology is the flexibility to completely customize percentages & ingredients. Sadly, like any Dermatologist, advice varies from excellent to poor. I've dealt with acne for 30 years & know what works for me so I just ignore their Derm. Their base is totally plain, no emollients. Retin-A creams DO contain emollients. Maybe for some people this increases the possibility of irritation. It can take a LONNNNG time & a LOT of tweaking to get skin to tolerate tretinoin.

This is my prescription too, I have a week before my trial should arrive.
I just started to break out insanely after 9+ months of masks. Before I didn't have to really watch what I used. Neutrogena was a safe brand, tea tree oil as an ingredient was a good call for over a decade for me. I even keep face wipes handy at home and work for sweat or just to freshen up. But the last week or two has just been horrible. Like my jaw has given up the ghost now after all this time, since I still work in a building where I have to mask up while I'm inside. Sounds like it might be an uphill battle, but I hope it proves to at least calm it down.

I was bad about just wash, moisturize and put my formula on. Always consult your doctor, but the time after wash seems a standard recommendation and I was told every other night to get my skin to adapt to the treatment and work up.
I still break out a bit, but honestly think it's stress, mask wearing and oils from my hair. The breakouts and dark spots I had when I started have reduced a lot. And I'm about 2 months in.

I'm amazed by the pricing of curology. I was on prescribed medicine for about a year, & was paying around $60 a month. I feel like if someone has never used a strong, prescription-grade skin medicine before, then their skin might react in those huge breakouts like people saying because they've never been exposed to it before. Prescription medicine does cause reactions when you first start. If someone's considering curology, maybe start out small at first.

Curology started me out with a very low dose I used it every 3rd day for about a week, then 2 days than everyday to make sure I could tolerate it. Than after about 3 weeks I sent more pictures to show I was doing well with that dose and they upped my dose and I have been using that for about 1 month now and I did the every other day again and built up to everyday. I will be sending in more pictures to have the dose upped again. They start you out low and let you build up to a stronger dose. The working online is easy to do and they answer your questions within a couple of days if you have any. Don’t be scareddd I have been very happy and I am sure you will be too. Have been using Curology for almost 3 years now and I never want to be without it! Has totally transformed my horrible, hormonal skin. If you’ve tried a ton of stuff without any help just give it a shot - it’s super easy, customer service is great and you can cancel it whenever with no hassle. Between this and understand/helping rebalance my gut health my skin is completely different from how it was a few years ago.

I personally have had a really good experience with using curology. Before I was getting these really painful breakouts on my chin. It was a combination of the red cystic acne and these tiny red bumps that would just flare up and felt really itchy. I didn’t have major acne issues as a teenager but going into my 20s I would get these really hormonal breakouts around my period and whenever I was stressed. Since using curology I haven’t experienced anything close to those painful breakouts I was getting before. I do get the occasional pimple but it’s generally pretty minor and more on me for when I’m not being as consistent with my skincare. Overall I highly recommend.

Curology says to start using treatment 3X a week, M/W/F - good advice that not everyone follows. Also, if you do run into probs with irritation, you can speak with provider, who will get back within a day or 2. Try getting that from a derm. Yeah, right.

I'm so happy to hear you ditched the clindamycin! That stuff is terrible for so many reasons. my family was sick with cdiff for a year. my husband almost died! we even ended up having to declare bankruptcy because of the amount of work he missed and all the debt we accumulated living on credit cards to keep food on the table and a roof for the kids. Clindamycin is the number one offender that causes C diff infections. It caused both mine and my husband's infections and the kids caught it from us having it. The company and the doctors will absolutely refuse to admit that topical clindamycin can cause a cdiff infection but there are six women in my cdiff support group who ended up hospitalized due to the clindamycin in their curology prescriptions :( one of them even went septic from it! There is no amount of acne worth putting your life at risk. hopefully somebody reads this comment takes it to heart and maybe I can help keep somebody from living through that nightmare. I recently stumbled upon your videos during my hair transformation journey during the pandemic ( I had a midlife pandemic crisis and decided to bleach the black dye out of my hair to go purple LOL) anyways I love your videos and I'm really glad to hear that you are not using the clindamycin anymore ❤️

Ordering now (well I am at the upload photos portion - had to resume later, lighting in bed, not so great. 😂 I think the price is very fair! No derm co-pay ($30-$50) or appt time away from work (1-2 hrs, $60), no running to my pharmacy (again, time and prescription cost), etc. !!!! And 10+ yrs ago my health ins didn’t like to cover Retin A, of you were over 40 (b/c they covered it for “acne” and decided you shouldn’t have acne after 40 ...bean counters). My doctor would get it through, but again kind of a pain on the process.

I just started Curology. Literally just did my first application on Friday and I’ll do the second tonight. I’m easing into it and buffering with moisturizer. I have a similar prescription but 0.012 tret and 4 percent Azaleaic Acid. I’m a 43 year old male so I’m looking forward to seeing results. My acne hasn’t been awful bymut it has been consistent as an adult but during quarantine my skin has been red irritated more acne, stubborn breakouts and hyperpigmentation and I’ve tried many products and maybe too much. I didn’t think Id care for the cleanser or moisturizer but I’m liking them a lot. The simplicity feels good.

My skin reacted well to it and my acne was getting better in a span of 5-6 months but then after 7 months, all of a sudden, I had a really bad allergic reaction. I felt like my face was burning off, it took 2-3 weeks for my skin to get back to normal... I was previously using ROC retinol along with Hylauronic Acid (micro sculpting cream with peptides and some other skin care. Some cheap and some pricey. Musley is seriously a game changer but I honestly think it's related to the prescription Tretinoin (Retin) Good stuff. You can also get Retin A from your Dr. Get it now. You won't regret it.
