R211T Test Train Burn-in testing on the A Line @ Fulton Street

MTA New York City Subway: Kawasaki R211T # 4050-4059, doing a burn in testing run on the A line @ Fulton Street. There will be 20 R211Ts cars (or two ten car sets) that are expected to start service later this year. 4040-4049 have a soft shell for the gangway, while 4050-4059 have a hard shell.

Oh nice they are testing. I hope they can be in service soon as some of the R211A’s is out and the only set that is running is 4060-4069. That set can’t do it alone sadly. But I hope the other sets do come back soon

It’s the other way around: 4050-4059 (this set) is soft shell, 4040-4049 is hard shell.
