I will always hate the world for the bad rep Zach got for his performance as Tanjiro. Was he the best choice for the character? Perhaps not but he really grew into the character and made it his own. It’s the role that made me notice him as an actor and this video has not only shown his great vocal performances but his wonderful range as an actor too. Thank you so much for this video.
Ikr? Even if his performance wasn’t good at the start they would eventually grow into their character overtime, it’s like Inuyasha dub was hilariously bad in the first few episodes but they soon got the hang of it.

His voice acting with tanjiro has actually improved tremendously, he’s definitely a perfect fit because tanjiro’s Japanese actor also has a high pithed voice.
Zach quickly became my all time favorite voice actor, he has a lot of more potential in the coming years and the future looks amazing! My favorite voice performance of his is Milo and Espresso Cookie :D
A role I really hope he auditions for is Takeshi Okamoto in the Tama and Friends franchise, that would overtake Tanjiro Kamado in Demon Slayer as the youngest character he ever played.
I had a good news on early March 2023! Zach Aguilar who voice acted David just winning Crunchyroll Anime Awards as the best English Voice Actor! I'm really so happy for him after becoming his fans!
Funny how Byleth was played by both Zach Aguilar and Chris Niosi because they both played Genos and Reigen from One Punch Man and Mob Psycho 100, both series made by ONE (not number, actual person).
I haven't watched the dub for Code Black, and didn't even know Zach did the dub for Red Blood Cell, but he sounds pretty great. Not as great as KENN in Japanese dub, but still pretty great.
I think Zach sounds more like Johnny Yong Bosch, especially as a more youthful version of him. I’m thinking, if anything happens to JYB, Zach Aguilar could step in to fill his roles! ☝🏾😊
