- The Bible wasn't written all at the same time, and it wasn't written by just one group of people. Today, the Hard Questions panel asks how we can know the Bible is "God's Word" if it was written by so many people?
If the Bible is truly God's word, and HE meant to give it to us, then the Bible shouldn't cause confusions. Confusions are caused by imperfect conveyance of instructions.
As historical documents and manuscripts, u really cannot say that they have many confusions and im pretty sure all these confusions could be solved with a bit more research

Any creator that wants us to worship it, would NOT have such confusion within its creation. It's not our fault, it's the creators fault for not making things more clearer. It's not the fault of the animal for taking a dump on your floor, it's the fault of the owner for not providing an opportunity for the animal to poop outside.

mark anciano The Old Testament is human kind history and historical event. The New Testament is the new covenant between God and human souls is when, where, how, why and who came to bring salvation for the human souls after dead and that was Jesus.
After 2:30 mins, still not able to answer the question. Man wrote the bible and chose what to put in and take out, and just because it's still alive today doesn't mean that these accounts happened or were witnessed firsthand. Just answer the question and stop making it philosophical.

How can I know that the books that were chosen to be put in were the most accurate words of God? Why them and not others? Why is what God says today to people not as meaningful as the Bible which is God talking to people along time ago?
I've always wondered this. If bible is true word of God why was it written so many years after the death of Christ. How do I know for sure what God told Moses? Why can't my words from God be included

the holy quran is the one and only true book of almighty if it has some simlerty with the Bible and Torah that because the massege is the same from the only worth of worship Allah (God) as a Muslim we believe in the all of holy books but unfortunately as u see the Bible and Torah changed and do not get preserved they have a lot of contradictions and God do not contradict himself. holy quran it has the massege that Jesus peace be upon him want to deliver as well as the massengers and prophets came before him. @@derealovesurvival7549 the Quran has been preserved since its revelation. Unfortunately, the same can not be said about the bible or torah. The bible simply cannot be the word of god because of the countless errors. Once you process that and agree, it’ll make you seek the truth. Understand that the Quran corrects the bibles errors. It’s a miracle in itself that an illiterate man named Muhammad (peace be upon him) was able to achieve such a blessing but he did so through the power of Allah. God is perfect and so are his words which is the Quran. It contains countless miracles, well before scientists discovered them. So once again, think how an illiterate man from saudi arabia could achieve such a thing. My advice is to pick up the Quran and read it with an open mind. I’m not saying you need to convert, i respect all religions

2/ Chose a few books *call them inspired ones* and trough the rest of other books (use your own feeling/inspiration for sorting them out).
3/ Then add some sellotape and call it *"Holy Spirit"* to make it cool
4/ Then 2000 years later put 4 people around a table and let them *trying to CONVINCE THEMSELVES* that it's "God's words" even though there is a lot of mistakes *PROVED* by historical/teachers !
Of when you tackle this to make it God's Words by *IGNORING* the mistakes and contradictions, you convince only people who are already convinced but clearly no one else.
Religious people call it faith lol but telling yourself and trying to prove something over and over with no real proof and OFTEN just summed up as the "holy spirit" in other word, MAGIC is insanity almost to the tee by its definition.

In the beginning they would marry their sisters and then close relatives. Incest was not an issue at the beginning. Later God would warn against it in later generations. Just like in the beginning it seems that Adam and Eve were vegetarians, but later God offers meat for man to eat. God has a big picture plan, but it must start somewhere. There is an order of things and there was a perfect plan. Once man sinned things began to degrade over time.

It is very correct . Bible changed me as well. But the mirracle and blessing promised are where?
It is backing me up, though i did not expect it. Pastors are keep enticing People that mirracle and blessing are waiting for the believers. The Pastors are giving unrealistic promises to believers, is problem . It makes People to expect though we came in without any expectation at all.
We must keep the faith without taking the Pastors' exageration of the past Bible stories. I feel better now to be in Christ than before without expecting any blessing the Pastors make.

so we have all played the telephone game, but 3000,4000 years ago, all these stories were told by the elders in a very tight community that did not like outsiders. There was very much an us/them mentality with the Israelites and I am not anti semite but lets call a spade a spade, the language that is in the bible is very much indicative of a people who think that those around them were less than they, they were not anointed, they were not Gods chosen, they were unclean, uncircumcised philistines. Its not at all impressive that a small group of racists who attacked other countries who had no idea who they were to begin with, and then have the gall to say that our God told us to come kill all of you men women and children, and they believed that this was Gods righteousness doing all this and that theres this same cultural value and indoctrination that they were gods chosen, and that one of them would be the messiah and all the prophecies would be fulfilled and this would happen as long as they didn't mingle with outsiders and took very strict and disciplined responses to anything that resembled to breaking Gods commands or sin, that it must be punished, turned away?

How do know or decide which scripture you might find in the future is part or not part of the God's words? Who gets to decide it? Is this means the bible still not complete?

Why don't we think that the Gospels were written after reading the Old Testaments and selected a best person " out of many crucified " and made it as Jesus to come and exagerated to be fitted in the Old Testament Prophacy?
Also one or two People wrote and re wrote to Gospels to fit in the Prophecy.
The reason why we might think that is, though we tell all the mirracle written had happened in past , why is not it happening now even a little bit?

I am not an Athiest but i prayed and try to keep away from many sins, but no mirracle and promises as given in Bible is not yet experiencing to me.

Well done. These are the questions that you should be asking yourself. My advice is to seek knowledge. Ask your pastor/priest. As a muslim, the Quran is complete. I believe it to be the word of god as it is the only scripture which has been preserved since its revelation. The way we muslims pray and recite the Quran, is truly powerful. I recommend picking up the Quran and just reading it. Surely there is no harm in that. It may put your mind to rest and make you feel more at peace with the truth.

With 66 books in the bible whether it is A word of god or not? But these pastors could not answer at all. They are all blindly following the Romans religion not the religion of Jesus AS. Paul never met jesus, John never met Jesus, Mathew never met Jesus. Luke never met jesus and who the hell are these people we can't identify Paul?, John?, Matthew?, and Luke?. There is no last name in Bible at all. John is deciple of Jesus .
He started writing, '' he is writing '' what he heard, seen and witnessed by his eyes, ears and mind''. He was sure the deciple of Jesus . Luke, Mathew and Mark are deciples of Peter who was a deciple and left Jesus untill Jesus appears to him after resuruction.
Peter is illeterate in writing. So his deciples Mathew and Mark wrote books for him. Luke is the deciple of Apostal Paul who never saw Jesus alive, he is 10 years younger to Jesus. Peter, James , Jude, John were all deciples of Jesus had written letters as to how to live a good life. The Gospels are historically written mixed with life of Jesus . But the letters of deciples are very important for living in good faith to God.
If Jesus was not resuracted why the deciples came back and died for the purpose . There are books written '' life of Appostals'' Please read it. I had heard the preaching of Kalib Jasin too. He asked all that questions. I will not find any fault in asking good questions.

Please give me references from your Bible that at the time of Jesus that this apostle was with the Jesus.. Let's even say that this apostle was with the Jesus just for while for the sake of argument. "If you don't do what Jesus have told you to do then you will be replace and other people will not like you." This is a clear warning from Almighty God. So please don't do tricky trick with the Jesus religion. Follow Jesus, don't follow what John has wrote it, what mathew has wrote, what Luke has wrote it, and what Paul has wrote it. No sleep overtakes Him, for Him to take carre of all universe, its nothing. Did they really took for god anyone besides Allah?
