I couldn't sleep if my yard looked that bad. I have to have everything done.
I live on 100 + acres. With 5 buildings But all my fences & buildings are weeded & painted & my grass is mowed or in crops or livestock. I have several flower & vegetables gardens That are kept up.
We do have 2 junk piles (you never throw stuff away on a farm as you might need it for mending something) but even they are straightened & weeded. If I get to where I can't keep up, it's all sold. I can't stand stuff junky & out of place. Thank God we have harsh winters that kill off everything, weeds, bugs, etc.

Not everyone has that luxury to take care of their yard unfortunately, especially in Sydney where it's not getting any cheaper to live here
@@SpektrikMusic I understand that. I have family help me or I hire someone. But if I became unable to do that I'd sell all of this & downsize.

What Pride? The pride that someone else did there lawn for them. I don't feel pride in my project if I just hire someone else to do it for me. Anyone can do that.

I'm wondering if the Homeowner's Mower has a clogged Jet. It's such a small hole, that even a tiny bit of grass could completely clog it, and stop fuel flow. I had that issue on my, at the time one year old mower. Took a tiny Crochet needle to clean it out, and it's been working perfectly ever since. In my case, I tried using old fuel taken from the gas tank of a vehicle, so that was my mistake all round, never used old fuel again, no more issues.
Judging by the looks of the yard, I believe the homeowner when he says his mower hasn't worked in ages. I wish we had "green waste" pick up like that.
In 'Murica, my town used to do separate trucks; now it all goes in one to be sorted at a "transfer station". I think Tim hired/rented those bins; I don't see any others when the camera view looks down the street.

Mowed a little house block on our property, literally found hundreds of lizards bigger/smaller than that, and at the end we found the giant mum lizard

I love that you have those green waste containers there for neighborhood pickups. I wish that we had that here.(Randolph, Massachusetts.). Excellent job.😊
Many American lawnmowers should learn from you and other Australian lawnmowers. You guys left nothing behind, always took away all the green waste. Not just stack them and wait for the city to pick them up, or blow everything and leave the clip over the cut grass. Crispy edges, the trimming, all excellent. There is an American You tube channel " Fill's Lawn Care " and he is great. He DOES REMOVE all the green waste. His attention to detail is fabulous. In my opinion as good as Tim, who consistently does a great job.

Definitely agree. I watch Fill too and he’s the exception. So many others need to complete a job instead of just celebrating they mowed. 😊. Tim is just on point every time

I love watching your yard makeovers but I look forward to seeing those adorable lizards. They're so pudgy, they look like skinks. Wouldn't I just love to have those big containers for green waste. We have only a once a month pick up during spring to fall but that's a lot of bags sitting around. Lucky you!

BUT I am dead set against our native sugar gliders used as pets in the USA.

Nice job! I’m looking forward to seeing your new flail mower in action. Before seeing your video with the rented flail mower, I had never seen a walk behind flail. I have seen the larger flail mowers that fit behind a farm tractor or the front mounted Ventrac. They do a nice job of chopping up tall grass and not just laying it over.
It’s crazy the difference in cut. Wish I got it 2 years ago. 2024 is going to be epic on this channel now 🙌

Those big yards are a lot of work, especially if the owner doesn’t do anything for years except toss his trash out there. Makes you wonder what those other bins are for. But Tim would have nothing to do if people maintained their own properties. I was a bit surprised to see the metal fence in the front. First time we’ve seen that, I think. Hideous. Neighbours must have been thrilled when that went up. Good to see the Skag getting some use, too. Good on ya, Claratyne.

Nice free-mow Friday! You were able to tackle a lot of the property. If I remember, your Summer ends at the end of February 2024. It should have time this month to turn green. It looks a little dry there. It will be great for the homeowner/renter once it’s done. The tenant is able to get outside in the Fall. Nice new mower!

I’m sure the resident can organise a council clean up if they wish. I don’t do rubbish removal though 🙌
Also a South Australian - don’t the local council do verge mowing? The City of Salisbury contract out the regular mowing and maintenance of all council owned property

Fantastic job on the front, Tim! It looks sooo much better. I am surprised the neighbor hasn’t said or done anything about that flowering vine being so thick on their house. It’s hard to tell where it started or where the base is.

grouse work Tim mate love it from from start to the finish in the front yard and yep your a lucky rooster not to damage the water meter for sure and of course finding two (2) Blue Tongue Lizards too and always a good edition to our Australian Backyard and nature in general i say and well some good finds in that yard too from the old outdoor setting to the well other stuff too from what i could see watching that video content but yeah all good i say etc love it and cheers from Grovedale Victoria Australia.
