Wellsboro Pennsylvania and the PA Grand Canyon

Wellsboro PA was a last minute trip, and was perfect especailly for this time of year, so beautiful and quaint. We capture "The PA Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania". So rewind a bit.... KJ texts a couple of (motorcycle friends that live in PA) that we're coming down Friday afternoon, problem is, it is already Thursday night when he contacts them! He's a spur of the moment kind of guy, but he can't always think other are also!
Anyways, Chuck and Dianne react and quickly snatch up the last room at the Canyon Motel right in Downtown Wellsboro, same place where KJ got our reservations in on what he thought would be a booked-up town!... I hear it usually is, and my hubbie originally tried to get in at the Penn Wells Lodge Tower Suites, also. in downtown Wellsboro PA..... but with a no go, all motel. rooms were booked up.
We were surprised we got in, but at KJ's 2nd choice of lodging, albeit it wasn't too shabby at that, the king bed was very comfortable!. So this being my (Debbie's) first time in Wellsboro, I wasn't disappointed one bit. The town has just something about it, you walk through it day or night and you feel invigorated! No, I'm being serious!. Such a cool small town it's not funny and I would go back again, and probably again!
The PA Grand Canyon was pretty too, of course going to the real/actual Grand Canyon a couple of years ago, this one was on the junior scale for sure, but, still worth a visit for sure!. We had a great time with Chuck & Dianne, I'm really glad Chuck encouraged me to see the Penn Wells Hotel, it was so interesting, I could of stayed there longer taking in all the nostalgic decorations and theme of past days. Loved loved loved it!
KJ says next year he hope's to get some of our Canadian friends down for this ride/event, a place he says they've been to before (with him) and he insists they will want a revisit!.... me too!!!
