Crazy thing is, I was within 1 mile of being correct. Don’t know you or your buddy’s, just thought it was cool. One of the best go kart videos on RUclips (probably 15 years old now) I’ve also suspected was recorded in Michigan (always thought it was Frankfort or Boyne for reasons) but never confirmed. @@mycustomgokart I just rewatched it, and for the first time confirmed it was Boyne City. I’ve got a Yamaha YXZ1000R SS I want rebuild into RS1 or Crosskart style single seater. YXZ motor and shifter combo are great, but suspension geometry is lacking.

Hey whats the legality of your guys' karts? I want to build one myself but all there is out here in North Dakota is straight public roads. To make them road legal I would need 350ccs MINIMUM. Recommendations at all? (loves the videos guys keep cruisin mates)
You have a hard question. I wouldn't recommend driving it on the main roads unless you can go above the posted speed limit like 5 or 10 over. You mentioned all you have is straight public roads, Do you mean streets or neighborhoods? You should be able ro ride in neighborhoods maybe not in a HOA because they call the police over everything.
