You don't attack wild Pokemon, you just catch them. So it would makes sense to me, remixing it in a less threatening fashion. And that's why i think it's different and not wrong. Does that make any sense in other heads than mine?

But that's clear enough through the instrumentation etc. - in this case, the actual notes themselves (in the big Pokémon wind-up at the start) have been simplified in a way that really does just look like the remixers didn't know their source material.

In let's go, you face Toby, mild mannered if not a little brash, but your friend at the end of the day, who just wants a good honest battle with his rival. In FRLG, you face Blue, arrogant, loud, and driven. He doesn't battle for fun, he battles to win! You aren't his buddy, you're his rival, the only thing that can stand between him and his champion title. Don't expect mercy, he's out for blood! This will be one explosive match as he fights to defend his title like his life depends on it. This is everything to him.

RBY has got as much jank and cut corners as SV, an insane difficulty curve (or should I say walls sometimes) and is generally pretty boring to play. The let's go games are nothing special but they're definitely not worse than the originals.
Um wasn't lets go pikachu a remake of Yellow and pokemon lets go eevee was pokemon brown (even though that game was never made nore thought of at the time of yellows release)
I’m probably the only person here who doesn’t really like the FR/LG ost. The melodies just don’t work as well when they sound like the opposite of the OGs. I wonder if someone has remade the OG versions using the GBA soundfont. On the other hand, the Let’s Go! soundtrack is like a near perfect recreation of the original tunes with live instruments.
The FireRed and LeafGreen one will always be best, because it did ominous choir before it was cool

Fire Red/Leaf Green does the best job in letting you know this is NOT the time to fuck around and find out.
You gotta admit that the Kanto champion theme/blue's theme is one of the most intense if not THE MOST intense theme in all of pokemon.
