Huell was great. He would get so excited like a big kid. Miss his shows.
I remember driving by while he was filming this,He was such a wonderful person,Imagine if everyone was like him,so,friendly and happy.....The world would be so nice.I'm glad he gave us all these recordings of so many historic places, he is missed!🙂😔🙏
22 years later. All those places are still there. The mochi place downsized quite a bit though. Have more ice cream flavors I think.
On June 29, 2021, the company's flagship store located at the Japanese Village Plaza in Little Tokyo permanently closed.[

Just found out Miyakawa closed after 111 years. A sad day indeed 😢
Remarkable. Huell and his team only went to two location and was able to tell two great American stories. It’s all about quality rather than quantity. Huell you are a national treasure.

Love Huell. Such a shame that great people like him are not with us anymore and yet many not so interesting , and I’m being polite, so called humans are still breathing. Go figure!
