  • In the first part of this video, we will show you the creation, export and import of signals for external communication, as well as the use of runtime expressions and expression blocks to connect those signals with parameters like the position of a position control.
    In the second part, we will establish a connection between MCD and S7-PLCSIM Advanced V1, which is used to simulate a PLC.
    In the last part, we will link the MCD and a real SIMATIC S7-1500 PLC using TCP/IP. The MCD will be configured as the server for the communication.
    The PLC programming was done in TIA-Portal V14.
