My son gave me that Magical Creatures crochet book for Christmas because he wanted me to crochet that gnome for him. I did and I got lots of compliments on it. I made it with worsted weight yarn but I'd like to try it with some plushy yarn. Also, I am hoping that JoAnne brings back Big Twist Posh. I started your Monkey pattern with it and ran out. I LOVED that yarn. Thanks for all the time and effort you put into designing such cute plushies. Some day I hope to learn how to design patterns.

I looove written patterns on paper! When ive started crochet like 1,5 year ago by now..i started collecting a ton of free patterns and written them down in a big (covered in fluff) notebook clipping a tiny image to each…and now i collect like a tooon of doily and designstitch diagrams. (Im obsessed with diagram patterns)

As you said about the books, I have the crafting in glory book and I realized that I prefer to see the pattern in the book than to be looking at a pattern on the phone. ✨💜

I love Big Twist Baby Bear! It’s my favorite! I definitely agree that the speckled colors have a velvet feel to them. It is thinner as it is actually labeled wrong. Their website says, “#5 Bulky (Packaging will say #6 Super Bulky this is incorrect).”

As always, love your video. I've been waiting for Jade's book for MONTHS now as pre-ordered it. I'm be interested to see what you think of the dino patterns. I have the set, but have delayed making any due to the many, many poor reviews i have seen- mostly due to difficulty and confusion, which may not be an issue for you. Example- some say that in order to make the patterns no sew, the designer made the patterns more difficult by having you surface crochet to avoid sewing.
PLEASE post an update once you have made some. Your expert opinion would be very valuable.

I'm currently working on the crocodile pattern. So cute! I'm using the bright green Posh. My absolute favorite yarn that hopefully comes back soon. Haven't been able to find the Baby Bear yet in store. Guess I'll have to break down and order it online to give it a try. Looking forward to your updated mushroom house pattern.
