"You got beat up by a chick," Did you ever consider the possibility that he got beat up because he knew he'd immediately get locked up if he retaliated? That's honestly why a lot of abused men 'just take it'.
This is why I hate feminist, it started out as good but it's just trash now. We should have a male justice thing or whatever why do the females just have that.
I am a pretty big dude. Retired Navy, built like a tank at 240lbs... I would never touch a woman, but I never mentioned getting hit by women. My ex was really physically abusive. I never talked about to other people until after I got divorced. It is embarrassing because you can easily stop from getting hit, but it would hurt who ever is doing the hitting. It's easier to get away and not even put yourself in a position to get hit so you end up walking on egg shells around your significant other trying not to offend for fear of getting hit. I once was bent over tying my shoes while getting hit from behind in the side of my head, I put my arm out sideways to block from getting hit-- when she came forward and, I know this sounds funny, rammed her face into my elbow while trying to get a better angle to hit my face. I immediately stood up, held her arms and told her she was bleeding. She threatened to call the cops, never did, and still to this day says I bloodied her lip while knowing full well what she did to herself. Please, do yourself a favor, if your girl gets physically abusive, leave the relationship right then and there because it will only get worse and never get better. It's not cute, it's not funny, it is abuse and only a matter of time till someone gets hurt bad legally or otherwise.

Exactly, there is so much confusion. Some dumbass believe that they never have to give theyre id. In this case however hell he didnt had to id himself, its up to him if he wants to press charges.
This condescending behavior by this cop is abhorrent. Imagine if this was a woman and the cop was acting like this, saying stuff like “oh, you got beat up by a man” he’d be fired in a mere moment after the mob swarmed the precinct. MENS HEALTH MATTERS
Not to Western Civilization it doesn't. Just look at the way feminists attack mens health day. Yes, there is such a thing and feminists screech about how bad it is once a year.
The statement “you got beat up by a man” is less condescending in nature than “you got beat up by a girl”. It’d be more like going to a woman with a mocking tone and asking “you got beat up by a boy?”
Keep in mind, the woman also said, "You need help arresting a woman?" Or something to that effect, which means the cops have roughly the same energy and mindset that she does. This is why I'm perfectly okay with this "Women equal to Men" mentality. Do I agree with it completely? No, not at all, but if we are going to degrade men for this stupid crap, we should do the same to women. I refuse to play a game where the rules are different just because of what is or isn't between your legs. It's all or nothing, and I'd rather no one suffers this type of mockery then everyone do it, but if we're gonna play the game, don't get mad when it comes back around on you.

Just because women are physically weaker doesn't mean they can't hurt someone badly, slapping, biting and scratching are just some examples but also using objects to hit people is possible too and a lot of guys don't fight back because they don't want to hurt their partners or be falsely accused by the girl.
@Lego_hq_21 very true, I have seen many cases of people threatening to end their own life (mainly women) if their boyfriend or partner says they are going to leave them
The one cop was an absolute dick to the man getting scratched and hit buy this chick. The other cop even though he was kicked in the face was still trying to keep the lady calm was you know pretty damn polite for having been kicked in the face.
It's like I tell people, your vital areas are just as vulnerable to a man as they are to a woman as they are to a bear, bird, cat, dog, what have you. The only difference is how long it takes them to end you when they truly start trying, and that can start at the drop of a hat, and that difference is mere seconds if not milliseconds.
bro, what? women also have a hard time admitting the abuse they've faced, it's just worse for men because of societal pressures and cops like the one he met who was antagonistic, also the risk that the man might get blamed even though he's obviously the victim. if it was a women, you'd be like "society is so mean, they make women feel ashamed and undesirable just because they've been abused." why is it so hard for you to apply that same logic to men?
Does cotton needs to be sued because you don't have to ID unless you've committed a crime. Since they don't believe he committed a crime refusing ID is not a crime. Hopefully they can get this guy a lawyer and Sue the police officer and the department for pain and suffering added in on top of what the woman did.
Aren't we? Invincible? Damn, I must have missed the memo. Anyway, thanks for letting me know.... I've been keeping it under wraps for too long due to the duality of the legislative system.

Right now as per an accurate representation of the generations by years, the oldest Alphas are no more than five, but already they’re not getting off to a good start. They disrespect teachers and play badly with one another and don’t follow instructions. The only good thing about the Alphas? There aren’t many of them. As for the Zoomers I don’t think many of them will be having kids at all. As a generation most probably won’t be long for this world. They don’t have the skills to survive upcoming social and economic collapse. The only Zoomers who will have kids will be from uncompromisingly conservative very religious communities.
Last I checked, identifying oneself is a choice of which is only a requirement when said individual is under reasonable suspicion of commiting a crime. @KuroLurker I totally understand what you are saying. There are 2 main reasons they always ask for ID. To gauge how compliant you are and if they can get you on something. Cops are always looking for any reason to arrest anyone. The other reason is if there is a crime in the vicinity in the next few days, they can then place you there and then you have to prove your innocence instead of them proving you're guilty. It makes a slam dunk case. Police are paid basically per arrest indirectly. Every arrest helps the department. There was a girl like this who lived across the road from me. The cops would turn up there every week after we have to listen to her screeching for hours. She eventually got kicked out of her flat, the cops had to come and take her away for that too, then everyone went out side and cheered as they took her away.
Funny thing is the cop tried to arrest the man for refusing to give out his identity when he wasn't committing a crime (and the cop had no name to the report anyways). But the girl blatantly tries to seduce and bribe him and doesn't get extra charges far as I know.
Unlike male-on-female DV, some people (like at least one of these policemen) still think that we're back in the 1980's when it comes to female-on-male DV. Not all women are angels (just as not all men are paragons) and both should be treated equally when it comes to this kind of thing. I wont hold my breath waiting for when that happens though.
She hits HIM Cop: ' He got beaten up by a chick'. If HE hit HER, . . Cop: 'A poor, defenseless woman got abused.' Maybe after THIS incident, the cop won't be so quick to judge domestic violence, based on the gender of the abuser.

The crazy thing is how often this turns out against the man. A cop shows up to a domestic disturbance in a lot of cities it's policy to always arrest some one to "break it up". Doesn't matter who is at fault, they take the man to jail. If there is no video evidence and it's her word against his, it's even worse. She can claim he hit her first or something.
@pat8757 Most police departments in the country still follow the diluth model. It basicaly says that men are to be arrested no matter the cause of the DV dispute. The worst part is, that model was formed in a predominantly white area with zero minorities in mind. The creators of the diluth model spoke against it eventually.

Not entirely true. Something similar happened to a black woman a while back and the cop was being really aggressive towards her. But it's rarer. I still don't get why cops so often only know how to be threatening, even to victims.

Hey Pegasus when an inocent person, victim, etc. gets put in handcuffs they aren't arrested, but detained. Alot of people mix those 2 things up. When you get detained the cops just they just ensure you don't run away or escalate the situation. It helps the cops to manage the situation, so unless you do something stupid or they'll find drugs in your car or something you are free to go after the whole situation ends.
My main issue with what happened in the video is that the officer dealing with the male victim didn't make that clear that he was being detained and that his whole approach with a helpful demeanor but appeared to be judging and accusatory. Initial the woman was treated in a more cordial manner. I know the guy refused to identify himself, but the way he was treated was still messed up.
That much is true, the arresting vs. attainment thing, but it's undeniable that the way that cop handled the abuse victim was unnecessary, and quite frankly, unnecessarily antagonistic. How would one expect to NOT get a tepid and standoffish victim if they're acting like that? If bro wanted a smooth investigation where he could get the information he needs, it makes no sense to be that level of passive aggressive and antagonistic, even to the assailant. It just makes more sense to be compassionate towards the victim and neutral to the assailant. Or neutral to both if you really just don't care, but also still don't want to cause anyone to be mute or untrusting of you. The goal is always to get information in order to act in the best interest to the safety of the public and enforce to the law, it's pointless if you blow that all away just because at that point, a battered person who just got domestically beat is thinking, "holy shit im getting arrested for the domestic violence I didn't even cause, the law really hates me," especially since he's a man and there's a whole history of there being a bias against men in situations like these even if the man is not in the wrong and is in fact, the victim.
it's kinda hard to want to identify yourself and trust a cop in an investigation when that same cop is treating you like the assailant/aggressor, women act like that too, standoffish, that's why cops are expected to at least be cordial and friendly to get that victim to be trusting and cooperative, but ig that doesn't apply to the victim; in that officer's eyes, it's just a dude who got beat up by a woman and forced the officer to do a job he doesn't seem like he cares about doing. Ik that's a harsh criticism, but bro seems to forget where his actual duty lies, he just thinks he needs to check all the boxes of the bare minimum.
nope, dead wrong...once you're in cuffs that's an arrest, being detained means that the person isn't allowed to leave the scene under threat of arrest...once he was in cuffs he was arrested. just because the arrest didnt result in a charge doesn't mean he wasn't arrested, that dude has a legitimate lawsuit if he filed it.
That cop absolutely fumbled the entire situation with the guy. There's no reason for him being that disrespectful. Also concealing your identity in a situation like this is no reason for arrest, it's just an intimidation tactic

I never understand people who are resisting arrest. Like, if you were wrongfully arrested, just comply and explain it later, even better, you'll get to see a lawyer who'll get you out lickety-split IF you were indeed wrongfully arrested. If you were rightfully arrested however, then complying still works because then you won't have resisting arrest and assault of an officer added on top of your charges. Plus what do they think they're going to do if they manage to escape the cop car? They're still in cuffs.

The cops failed me, every time I called the cops she would hit herself and say I hit her and I’d get arrested for getting my ass beat. I even had witnesses and they still arrested me and not her. One day we got it on video and they finally took her but the damage was done, I still don’t trust cops to this day. But yes, I was afraid to defend myself mostly because she was quick to grab a knife or weapon, and obviously wasn’t above coming at me while holding our child. You know what it’s like to go to your friends house all beat up and tell them you got beat up by a woman? It’s embarrassing. Yes she was taller than me, and we both weighed around 140-150 at the time. The fear of going to jail for her beating me up? Just made me accept it. I wasn’t safe in my own home with my own child and mother. I slept in my moms room with the door locked because she would attack me in my sleep.

The condescending and short fuse when dealing with the guy was disgusting while the abusive gf is literally getting sweetly talked to and for some reason gets an apology???? *WHAT DA FUCK???* Men don't report or trust anyone to tell about how they're in an abusive relationship because of shit like this, they would rather deal with it quietly then potentially getting mocked by someone they are supposed to put trust in and still get abused...
Glad she got what was coming to her. I'm sick of women who think they can abuse men and get away with it. The boyfriend was probably only taken in for refusing to identify himself, which was why he was released when he finally did.
The way she speaks is so, obviously, concerning. I won't continue to state the obvious, every sane person can register she's obviously an evil, aggressive person who doesn't think straight, like what a damn psycho, but I noted how she basically said "it's okay, it's between me and my man, i'll take care of him and the situation." Classic abuser mentality, unfortunately, scary to hear all the time. I feel bad for guy, he's clearly been taken advantage of and like many DV victims, he still tries to care for his abuser because it's not like care and love immediately dissolve, but that doesn't discredit his abuse, quite the contrary. *I really wish the other cop handled things properly, I hope he saw the error in his actions as soon as he saw how evil that dirty creature was. No shit he would identify himself as soon as he could in a safer setting and trusting environment, no shit he'd obviously cooperate once he could trust the people questioning him, you have to establish trust in order to get a productive investigation, that's common sense, I've never done anything with law enforcement and even I know that. The way that shrew tried to flirt with that cop is so gross, what an insane loser.
"You got beat up by a chick," Did you ever consider the possibility that he got beat up because he knew he'd immediately get locked up if he retaliated? That's honestly why a lot of abused men 'just take it'.
Especially with a crazy women like this ,if he did defend himself,he would have went to jail for sure
This is why I hate feminist, it started out as good but it's just trash now.

Exactly, this is one insecure, man baby police officer.

It makes a slam dunk case. Police are paid basically per arrest indirectly. Every arrest helps the department. Many police officers don't care in the right person goes to jail, they only care that someone is paying for it. There are a lot of good officers out there but I don't want to take the risk of getting a bad one.

Women killed men in the 1980s too
She hits HIM
Cop: ' He got beaten up by a chick'.
If HE hit HER, . .

Maybe after THIS incident, the cop won't be so quick to judge domestic violence, based on the gender of the abuser.
Wtf are you talking about?
He was right. Are you afraid that she would beat you up too?
This just affirms that he got beaten up by a chick. How and or why should this change his or anyone's thoughts on that? You think he has not seen examples of this before? He's a police officer. They she the shit that people hide and don't tell anyone about. They see the worst of 'civilized' people both low and high.
If I had ever behaved like that when dealing with cops, i'd be dead right now. THAT's a glass ceiling.
She can claim he hit her first or something.
maybe 30 years ago , now the primary aggressor goes whether its man or women
@pat8757 Most police departments in the country still follow the diluth model. It basicaly says that men are to be arrested no matter the cause of the DV dispute. The worst part is, that model was formed in a predominantly white area with zero minorities in mind. The creators of the diluth model spoke against it eventually.

@@m00shminki88exactly.
She was obviously used to having things her way. Bye bye Karen.
Idiots are really in these comments trying to defend her by saying "he didn't press charges, so she can't be arrested."

People like this should be behind bars for at least a few years, because they're only going to continue acting this way and make others miserable.

Not only she starts trying to kick them 😂 like girl chill out we get it u like to hit men
I never understand people who are resisting arrest.
People say the guy was embarrassed about being abused(which could've also been the case in all honesty), but it feels like there's more psychological things going on if he was straight up defending her. I have a friend who was abused but he flipped flopped between defending his abuser's actions and wanting to get away from the abuser.. Before ultimately defending the abuser's actions and blaming himself for the treatment. If my feeling on the situation is similar to what I just explained or straight up the truth... I hope this guy got the help he needs.

Classic abuser mentality, unfortunately, scary to hear all the time.
I feel bad for guy, he's clearly been taken advantage of and like many DV victims, he still tries to care for his abuser because it's not like care and love immediately dissolve, but that doesn't discredit his abuse, quite the contrary.
