    Fluency is just about practice. There are two types of vocabulary one is active and another is inactive. Most of people know 1000+ word but they do not use regularly. They use some word occasionally that is why lots of unknown words go to the inactive state. So if you feel shy about spake, it would not be helpful for your English practice.

    • @afsar2321

    Niharika. You're really great. Most people come to me and say why you're so good in listening but why not in spoken. The reason is like you said, when i start to speak, my mind searches for words to spill it out, but mostly i'm struck to fill the sentence. I always keep wondering, why i'm not able to speak fluently. After watching your video, the idea of learning 10 new words every day. Would be great idea, I'll do this regularly hereafter. Thanks for the tip and finally you're looking so gorgeous

    i want to share my experience with you all about my vocal skills.
    when i stayed alone away from home i subscribed english newspaper and guess what my english was at next level and it was quite good.
    now m back home and i read hindi newspaper as my parents havent subscribed the english one and now my english is somewhat lagging and anyhow the words that r coming out of my mouth are of pure hindi. my mother is quite shocked about my voclals and now m subscribing eng paper at home. so reading does have an effect on your vocabulary.

      It is for three main reasons. She teaches American English,not Standard English therefore many of the sentence structures and vocabulary examples are classed as incorrect in the global English community. Secondly, she makes obvious errors in her grammar when speaking, thirdly, she is using the channel to advertise an app which she makes money from.

    Hi, just a small query.. you said that we need to do improve vocabulary for fluency, but in the entire lesson of 14 min, there hasn't been a single word which is difficult or not known to anybody, but you speak so fluent.. so my doubt is.. what is the primary thing required? Is it speaking more with the words we know or to learn more complicated words which makes it even more difficult to speak.. Please do advise..

    • @davidlakhotia3854
      @davidlakhotia3854 5 лет назад +5

      Hey brother you have to speak more with the words you know.

    • @tweetiepie551
      @tweetiepie551 5 лет назад +16

      If you wish to increase your fluency then the method of picking random buzzwords and slang is not the way to do so. Native speakers are taught to learn synonyms for one term and become proficient in their definition and common grammatical use before moving on to another term. For example, the word ' kind', suppliment 5 other synonym options - I.e caring, good natured, gentle hearted, generous spirit or gracious. This route presents the best method of gaining fluency in English. In addition one must immerse themself in English listening,speaking and reading without reverting to their original language.

    Good video, teacher!
    And what would you suggest to those people who don't have a computer or a smartphone and can't afford a trip to the US or an online English course?
    There are many people in this situation around the world. They are very poor.
