I subscribed to your channel man!! Human coffee machine here!! Hahahahaha love my coffee and sipping on one now!!! I drink coffee like water. I can’t stop drinking during the day and into the evening. Just like my cigarette. Hahahaha I don’t smoke but drink the coffee like a boss. I have a lot of coffee mugs. I am actually using one right now. I have a kale run coffee mug or Cauldryn that is what it is. Then i have the next mug and I have some that are for work. I even have the burn out mug and some other ones as well. I am using the next mug now. It has a charging coaster on it. Also the Cauldryn has a boiling feature where you can actually boil your coffee and then bring it down to temp if you want it. I love all of my coffee mugs. Love using them all. Each one gives the coffee a different and unique experience. Well, got to get back to sipping all you fellow coffee drinkers lets show the tea drinkers who we are. Oh yea!!!! Raise our mugs together!!
Nice-looking mug. I like that it doesn't have its own logo on the outside of the cup as I usually put a small sticker of my own choice on my travel mugs in case I misplace it. I looked at their website , I like the blue but I wish it came in some other colors, maybe that's in their future. Thanks for the video☕
One thing you did not cover, does it leak? That’s one thing I think most people want is a mug that don’t spill. Price also How many oz does it hold? They are very sleek looking.
Hey! Sorry I didnt touch on this, but no it wont leak on you. It has the rubber lining to seal the lid in, and the sliding mechanism is pretty tight as well. This cup is 12oz :)
I just purchased the matte blue version based on your review. It appears the Sara Verdier does not sell a replacement lid separately on their website. Could you recommend a generic leak proof replacement lid that would fit this coffee cup.
I also own the Fellow Carter mugs! I love them. Comparatively, the Fellow mugs are quite a bit heavier, a little more expensive, but the materials do feel a bit more sturdy as well. Kind of a compromise really, depending on what your usage is. I could imagine someone using Steelceramics if they work in an office or from home, but Fellow would be more likely to stand up to a hike, or a day in the city. I also should have gotten the tall and skinny Fellow mug but I totally did not haha and it doesnt fit in my car which is a bummer..
They look like nice mugs. Checking that it fits in your car cup holder is nice. But for me, functionality is the most important thing. Being aesthetically pleasing would be the next most important thing. Finally, good value for the money. They mugs look aesthetically pleasing. Your comments on the blue mug appeal to me a lot. The texture, matte finish and look of that mug is very nice. BUT the spoon and the straw seem like a waste. I had purchased those foldable, silicone straws in the past. They seemed like a great idea if you want to eliminate plastic straws but they are a pain to use and worse to clean. Additionally, I use a metal spoon in coffee as a heat sink in order to make my coffee cool down faster. A wooden spoon can't be used as a heat sink. So the wooden spoon doesn't seem very functional to me. Finally, functionality of the mug itself. Would have been nice to brew a coffee, measure the temperature then check the temperature with the lid on and closed every 5 minutes. How long does it keep my coffee warm? How much of a difference does having the lid on but open make? In other words, brew a coffee, measure the temperature then check the temperature with the lid on and it open ever 5 minutes. Does the steel pull the heat out of the coffee faster than say a pure ceramic mug? Finally, what is the retail price of the mug? Oddly, I have a Tim Horton mug. It isn't a travel mug but it is a good size, feels nice in my hand, is aesthetically pleasing to look at but most importantly, it was a used mug from my sister when I moved into my new home. It was the only coffee mug I had. Even used, it has sentimental value. That is going to be hard to beat.
Hey Darrell! Lots to consider for sure.. sorry I hadn't tested the heat much. But a solid couple of hours on this guy for most people would suffice. I do agree on the straw and spoon though; a nice gesture, but not super useful ! I also totally get the sentiment of a good mug. Cant beat nostalgia sometimes !

I feel the wooden spoon is to protect the ceramic when stirring your coffee. 🤷♀️ great video.
It could be! Hadn't thought of that. Thanks for watching :)

❤️The indigo blue
How would you compare this to the Fellow Carter? Have you used one before? Did you like it?

@@CoffeeTimeJR interesting! Especially about the cupholder thing. It didn't even occur to me to think about size...
Where are they made?

Honey
A nice ceramic mug but a plastic feel on the lips with the lid
