My 96/11 is a tack driver with Sellers and Bellot 7.5 ammo. The other day I was hitting a steel the size of a sheet of paper at 300 yards every time. With my 57 year old eyes that was mighty good.

Great shooting. Really under appreciated rifles.
GP11 is the best. Glad i stocked up. I also wonder why its not packed in 12 round boxes. Even the 1889 rifle had a 12 round box mag.

We actually compared PPU 7.5 Swiss FMJ to GP11 (70s & 80s production), which PPU outperformed GP11 in 3x different K31s and 2x different M1911s. It is best to test things yourself. Don't always fully trust what people say online. "Trust but verify" :)

@@Cubic_3 good to know. My rifles like gp11. I hand load for my 1889 and k11. My reloads are loaded to GP90 pressures. Gp90 was not as hot as gp11. The Swiss claimed gp11 could be fired in older rifles but only in emergencies.
I have berdan primers and have successfully reloaded gp11 cases. It's alot of work but the brass is really high quality. Hurts me to throw it away.
