- One of my favourite John Fahey compositions. It's basically a recital of the 1967 re-recorded version off Death Chants, Breakdowns & Military Waltzes.
Apologies for the poor video quality - I need to get some new lighting!

Great performance and the sound is excellent, never mind the audio.
I’m a huge fan, Kris. I’m studying this song on my guitar, you’re so clear and the sound is spectacular.
Hi Kris. I'm playing my way through your videos. I'm really enjoying your playing, and the music selections.
This is fabulous, Kris! It's music like this that will help lift us, in these crazy times. THANK YOU!
beautiful
Love them changes. The mood flows along with the chord changes and melody. Beautimus Maximous!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it.
Love this! Killing it with those banjo rolls!
Excellent! Always a treat. Thanks!!
Thanks for listening Danny, appreciate the support.
Beatiful rendition
Just beautiful, thanks for all the Fahey tunes
Thank you, my pleasure.
Lovely sound . . .
Wow man, you're living the american dream! haha Sorry for the joke cause you somewhat remind me of deceased poet & jornalist Hunter S. Thompson. But dude, your sound is great. This is indeed is one of the most heartfelt songs John Fahey ever made. Loved the lightning btw!
so good :)
Flawless.
Amazing. Just beautiful. Thanks! (I need to learn how to do that little roll thing.) It’s so seamlessly built into the composition it doesn’t even sound like a flourish.
Thank you for your kind words, love your version of Sunflower River Blues btw.
Nice that. I dont suppose you have any old footage from the Setback days. Being from Maidstone I saw you play many times. I actually roaded for you a couple of times. Chislehust Caves. Possibly one of your last gigs. Your drummer Tig was using my kit.
Kris, your playing is really amazing.
Mind giving some background? When did you discover Fahey? How long have you been playing? Any formal education in music?
Are you using the drop D tuning in this video?
you're a fucking legend
