Love Brian Welch and how honest he always is about his life and God. I sat behind him in a worship service once and felt like I was in a holy presence!
😮 "holy presence?" That's messed up. The hypocrisy around celebrity worship is stunning.
Not good my friend there is only one holy presence I know you men’s well but we don’t worship idols as Christian’s.
Yeah, getting a weird vibe from this comment. I hope you didn't mean that a man, just like the rest of us, somehow gives off a divinity/holiness that only God has. But I just want to lovingly exhort you, and remind you that he is a sinner saved by the grace of God, not by anything he has done, just like any other believer. The glory goes to God!
I live how the "christians " want to attack you for wording something in a way they don't like. People give off vibes, I'm very sensitive to it myself. Instead of addressing you kindly you get called weird. So typical . Don't let it get you down.

I've been a korn fan since 2002 when I was 12. Later in 2012 I came to Christ and was baptized. I went astray for a good number of years until 2022 and began listening to Head's Christian music. Among many other things that God used to bring me back to Himself, Head's album "Save me from myself" was very instrumental in drawing me back to my Savior. God bless you Brian my brother, your talents are truly a blessing and your testimony is powerful.
Brian sat right next to me at a Pat King meeting in AZ. He's a very nice man. Glad he and Alice Cooper are witnessing to lost and backsliding rockers.

I was one of those kids/teenagers that listened to all the rock and metal bands and always felt outcasted and when I found Brian’s music, I believed Jesus planted that seed in my heart. After years of struggling and not feeling like I could ever be accepted or fit in. Jesus saved me last year.

Hey, bro. I met you in 2016 in Detroit. I was part of a group you took backstage. I kinda photo bombed a pic you and fieldy were taking with this couple that you also brought back stage. After the photo, you turned to me, did a double take and said " man I thought you were munky!". Idk if you remember that but it was such a a fun thing I will never forget.
I love you, brother. I'm so glad you're still going strong in Christ and if it were possible, I would love to buy you dinner next time you're in the Detroit area. It wouldn't be anything big and fancy but I know a bunch of small local spots with great food.
I just want an opportunity to sit and chat with you one on one for an hour or two. That would be super cool
As a former seminarian who was studying for the catholic priesthood, I'd dare anyone who hasn't given an opportunity to fellowship with others of different personalities & backgrounds to give that a try first before criticizing & missing out on the opportunity to grow with others that may be different from you. It's all about relationships at the end of the day, IMO.
For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are.
Brian absolutely brought me back to Jesus…. Which lead to Cynthia Garrett, her theologian husband and most important Girl Club! For the spiritual chicks on the go. Thank you Brian for all you do… much love and appreciation ❤️
Jesus came TO us and into our mess, BUT did not partake in our sin. He remained holy, pure and blameless, and while we are a fallen, imperfect people, we should still strive to be more like Christ every day. If we're truly striving to be more like Christ, there's things we need to put aside. I know that's a hard decision for Brian, I really do, but I don't think staying in Korn is what God would want for him, only because those messages are not aligned with Christ (by any stretch of the imagination). People at Korn concerts need to be reached, yes. Even his fellow band members, who I know Brian dearly loves. But I bet Brian could find a different/better way to reach those people that doesn't involve him partaking. Trust in the Lord and He will find a way! Also - love you Brian! I hope this random youtube comment doesn't come off the wrong way or attacking in any way - sincerely meant as the opposite!
He left KORN cuz his tiny daughter was singing ADIDAS. He went back to the vomit and was recently making jokes about ADIDAS on his instagram. I'm sad that because he's rich and famous no one is willing to question singing demonic music "for Jesus". Fame and money are hard to walk away from. And the heart is deceitful. I'm praying he'll truly lay it all down and his friends will stop fangirling and helping him justify participating in carnality/the world. He can fully be a witness while walking in the light.

I've listened to all kinds of music since birth. Finally realized how much evil it sowed in my heart at age 56. Every word is a seed you sow in your heart that bears fruit.

I've been a lifetime Korn fan and always tended to focus on Brian and JD. Their music really helped me a lot in my teens and into adulthood. I am also an avid reader and Brian's book popped up in my recommended section. To say I was more than moved would be a huge understatement. I cried, a few times actually, by how Brian's experience lead him to where he is now. I found that book at what is one of the hardest periods in my life. I grew up very catholic and Brian's words and testimony has given me so much hope for a better future for myself. Its pushed me to do better. In this journey I've taken since reading Brian's book I feel a closeness in a way, far past the connection of loving the music he plays, I even found out we share a birthday. I feel as though God has been pushing me towards Brian for a long time. God has put Brian in my life for a reason. If I ever get the chance I would love to thank him in person. He is truly a beautiful soul! Great podcast!!

So good. Gave him a big hug when he came to visit my church in Orlando. I think I freaked him out lol. But he totally impacted my life. He got saved about 1 year after me and it was amazing to see him become born again. I also was in high school and grew up watching and listening to korn as a teen. It's sometimes surreal to see how God moves.

Been a fan of KoRn since 93' followed Brian when he left the band! Was a fan of the solo and love and death! Reclaiming his place in KoRn to meeting him while in line as he walked by. I might be struggling right now, but I know where my heart belongs. Thank you Brian and Reggie! Much respect.

Loved it. Also loved the prophetic fruit flies that were flying around both of you! They are only around when the fruit is ripe. Get ready for increase. I remember seeing a video that Brian did in a shower or something with glass walls. He was speaking about how lovesick he was for the Lord. It wrecked me, and I had been walking with the Lord for around 40 years at that point. So good! Let us spur one another on towards love and good deeds and all the more as we see the day approaching. When I Did Meth Back In The Day I Used To Have The Bible Out...Strong Concordance And I'd Study The Gospel All Night In Bakersfield...I'd Have Conversations With So Many People While We Where Spun...It's Amazing How The Holy Spirit Shows Up In Alot If Places...God Is Great

Also on the lyrics of "Alive" I was very interested in the 3 times sunny says "I can't deny you" in new testament Jesus tells Peter you will deny me 3 times. Peter doesn't believe that's even possible. But Peter does deny Him 3 times like Jesus spoke of.

Years ago I was under the influence of some thing ... anger, lying, offended, depression , etc. That got me into drug rehab.
I just had a profound revelation.
Luke 2:34-35 When the Mind is offended, the heart is revealed. Is a spiritual principle that comes straight from the person of Christ.
In Jude 1:9 Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, did not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
... In other words there was no offense or wound, or sin, no unforginess, in the Arch-Angel Michael for offense to be triggered.
The bitterness and the hate and the natural response to fight when I get caught up in hostility is directly tied to a need for healing, repentance, and the softening of a hard heart.
When the Lord told us he'd give us beauty for ashes. I think he was literally saying bring me your pain and I will trade you and impart the fruits of the spirit to your heart. Beauty for Ashes a trade transaction in repentance and prayer.
