- Ingredients:
Tomatoes 2 big
Potatoes 2-3
Onion 2 medium size
Ginger garlic paste
Greenchillies
Corriander leaves
Spices :
Red chilli 1/2 half tbspoon
Corriander powder: 1/2 tbspoon
Turmeric: 2 tbspoon
Cumin powder: 1.5 tbspoon
Marination: marinate the fish for atleast 10-20 mins with turmeric and salt and light-fry them.
Fry the potatoes lightly in the same oil and keep both aside
Now grind the onion and ginger garlic into fine paste
Once the oil(mustard oil)is hot enough add the onion and ginger garlic paste and saute it until the paste turns darker. Now to this add all the spices mentioned above and mix it well. Make sure the spices dont get burnt. To avoid burning add in the roughly chopped tomatoes and mix it intill you hear spices are cooked well. Now add in some hot water as pop in some green chillies. Once the curry starts to boil add in the half cooked fish and potatoes and cook it in low to medium flames until the oil releases.(2-4 mins)
Top it with some fresh corriander and you are good to go. Add salt during the process.
