I have the Lumintop FW's and the switch sounds similar. I don't bother with lockout if I'm just walking around with it in a pocket and using it on and off, but if it's going in a pocket for any length of time or being packed for a trip, lockout is a must. Looking forward to trying one of these and a KR4 out. Cheers.
Geez dude, you want some cheese with all that whine? Lol just screw in the tail cap all the way and the switch works fine and click it 4 times for lock out mode, to take it off that mode is only a second and, unless you're in some kind of quick draw flashlight competition, I think you can spare a literal second. And the Anduril UI is awesome! It can do so many things, it's great!
lockout is fine for putting in a bag. But a PITA if you want to EDC and use frequently, therefore not a suitable solution. Cap IS screwed all the way down. If you don't, it doesn't work....
@@yogabbacrabba1457 So do I. As I said in the video, it is the most impressive torch I've bought in a long long time. But sadly every time I put it in mu pocket, within less than an hour it'll have turned itself on. Usually on turbo or high. I have 30-40 other lights I use on a regular basis. Not a single other one does this and none need locking out to carry them!
Double click from off is top of ramp not turbo.
Thanks. Another reason I'm not keen on this UI. Too many things to remember unless you have a copy of the manual at hand.

You gotta have that with every torch That uses a electronic switch learn to use the lockout

Have you tried to back off the tail cap a bit? that's what I do for my side switch lights, just a quick quarter turn both ways does the trick.
It's nice, but I like my Fenix HT18 beam better. 1500 lumens and 214k candela.
How far is the maximum throw ?
where to buy, can ask for the link?
Got mine from here: intl-outdoor.com/noctigon-kr1-tail-e-switch-pocket-thrower.html
