Hi, Victoria. Mary from Texas here.
Proud of your adventuresome spirit. Only WE can make ourselves do it. Nothing wrong with being an introvert, most artistic people are. I am, but am trying to spread my wings more and more.
I shall be here to say atta girl. ❤ your hat!

I love that you are sharing your ventures into the unknown with us. I also love that your outing resulted in yet another outing to take you out of isolation. It's interesting how socializing can have a snowball effect, and it gets easier the more we do it. It can just be very difficult to get the snowball rolling sometimes. But it looks like you're on your way to making a snowman! I grew up in Michigan and I have a high school friend whose parents live in Dexter. Since you asked for questions, I'm curious, how were you invited to the "people with the goat"'s Christmas party last year? Have you always lived alone or is this something you're adjusting to later in life?

Hello fellow Michigander Kelsey! Thank you for your comment and question!
I have always had a hard time socializing since I'm an introvert! But I can usually get into the right frame of mind if I just get past my own roadblocks and just nudge myself a little to get that "snowball rolling!" :-) Isn't Dexter a sweet little town?
I went to the Christmas Party last year with a friend who invited me. Wow, was I glad I went! The goat was such a fun surprise! I never imagined myself alone at this age. I was married for many years, but that marriage surprisingly ended almost 15 years ago.
