Jak is clearly the winner in this generation. It was better for Ratchet on PS3 with tons of games, then better for Jak fans on PS4 and for now it seems on PS5 there will be some Ratchet games so that's fair lol one gen for each
I think we could potentially get a remake for PS5, rumours are more believable now with much evidence to support that it could happen, probably not, but we can always hope.

All I can say is, thank god we didn't get that Jak 4 for real, the art is nicely done objectively speaking, but not at all the direction I'd want to see this cartoony and fun series go in.
Idk, I would have liked a darker, grittier, realistic version. It would look amazing now with modern graphics. Would have preferred that to TLoU2 anyways...

What r u talking about? Most of Jak was mature targeted stuff. Only Jak and daxter was goofy cartoon. Jak 2 and 3 was rated teen or mature I think with a much more mature approach to it's story and characters

I'm all for the "grittier" world and themes from the later games, but the art style and characters are still clearly cartoony, the Jak IV concept art is much more "realistic" looking, and unfitting with the rest of the series.

ALSO, those design Bibles just might be the coolest thing about these collector's editions, there is SOOOOO much stuff in there about game development, level design (to include scraped concepts and levels that were intended to be included but weren't) plot summaries, revised plot summaries, and of course character and level art, I love all of the other stuff, its fucking amazing, like for example, did you know that towards the end of Jak 2 you were suppose to meet up with a group of Krimzon Guards who wanted to change loyalties to the underground during the metalhead assault on the city? I imagine that they scraped it due to time, but it is an amazing mission concept

Really wanted to get in on the Jak and Daxter bundle, but they were sold out even though I had it in my cart in a matter of seconds. Now of course, you can find them being scalped for $500. It was extremely frustrating and pretty much ensured that I would never give Limited Run my business.
I love the first game and liked the others. For me the first one despite been smaller felt more like a modern open world game. The later ones had a very GTA like mission feel to them.
I am praying that one day Limited Run Games will do a "Vault System" and bring back some of their older games. I HATE I'll never had a chance to get this game
I love this channel. I grew up with all the Jak and daxter games on ps2 and there was almost no one i met that knew about the franchise. Its great to see someone else loves it as much as i do
I remember being so mad my mom bought me Jak and Daxter because I guess I was about 10 or so and thought “wow this is for toddlers”. Then Jak 2 came out and it was cool all the sudden. Fast forward I’m 32 and they have a legacy franchise to be proud to have played. So dope.

I had ps2 installed in my travel truck just to play jack an dax on the road . Mainly jak 2! I loved all three though great content ! I dont quite understand the point of the memory cards tho ..

There is a technique to put the disc back with out opening the case. It's pretty simple, there are videos on youtube showing you how to do it. I've had to do it a few times with my limited run games I didn't want to open.
Jak 3 was a fucking masterpiece for its time. Such an impressive scope. The powers are cool as shit, light and dark. If you've played it, you know what I'm talking about. The light powers is about one of the coolest things that the developers came up with for Jak 3.

There's another Jak and Daxter that had a limited run of a printing for PSP and PlayStation 2 called "Jak and Daxter the Lost Frontier."
