This is a series of World War 2 Memoirs Of Japanese Fighter Pilots. We'll tell you stories about people who were really important in history, sharing their own experiences from the war. You'll hear about the smart strategies and sacrifices of those who led the first attack on Pearl Harbor, led air groups from carriers, and flew as dive-bomber pilots. Title: “the American pilots are incredible. We are losing this battle”. Nowhere in this dialogue do they discuss the actual battle. Who the hell writes the title???
This series has the look and feel of a real book being ripped off by this channel, and other copycat channels.
Click bait
One of the greatest problems is that Yamamoto and his task force stayed 300 miles behind the Midway attach force. And, the force was not combined as the landing force which was to invade Midway after it had been crushed by the air attacks from the four heavy carriers. The landing force was south of the main attack force. Never divide your forces.
If the Americans had mastered skip bombing back then the invasion force might have been turned back before the carriers ever launched and the carriers might have all been out of action by 1030 on the 4th.
Doing my part for the algorithm
The Ministries of Army and Navy were just about as much an enemy to each other as the Americans. It is one large factor, but not the only, in costing Japan the war.
This has some very interesting details!
OMG a new narrator bot!!!!!!!!!!
Just as bad as all predecessors on all of the WWII casts.
And a f*****g useless one again - I thought AI meant Intelligence but it obviously doesn't (or the machine is deaf and can't listen to normally pronounced English).
What's the matter, don't you understand gibberish?
Detailing every part of Japanese forces verbally is very tiring.
I like the other bot.
So do I
@@erichughes284 This bot gets a bit overwrought when he has to recite a series of submarine numbers . I was worried he'd explode or spontaneously combust.
Interesting how this segment praises Yamamoto so universally but at least two other officers series felt Yamamoto was the wrong choice to lead the Naval forces.
Yamamoto was a self serving political animal. He had no business in the military.
..
The Japanese armed forces were filled with such officers. He was not unique in that respect. Some naval commanders considered him a defeatist, but he was right. He knew Japan 🇯🇵 could not win a protracted war with the United States 🇺🇸.
Like reading the phone book.
The civilians fleeing to the mountains for garbage ( OK refuse ) got a snort from me.
Yamamoto told The Emperor that attacking Pearl Harbor will be a huge mistake.
Does anyone know who the author is, or what book this is from?
There was radio silence in the US fleet.
I love this series of stories, they provide a perspective of the war that would otherwise never be known. Having said that, WTF is up with this AI narrator crap? I've heard three different and distinct voices, and they all have trouble with pronunciation and difficulty with basic rules of grammar, but the kicker is the inconsistency with which the mistakes occur, almost like the program cannot remember how to say the words.
The proper pronunciation of Yokosuka is Yo'KUska
Really bad voice AI. Unintelligible in some cases.
Is this a sister channel to WW2 Tales?
Why give map positions without showing a map. I know the general layout of the Japanese forces but these mean b****r all!!!
The physical effect of the raid was immunse..
Algorithm assistance here
Add Testosterone to make it listenable.
The are milking these japanese stories by changing them slightly and giving them a differen title, how many times can you tell the sinking of akagi ?
This text to voice program is horrible. Almost like it is mispronouncing on purpose.
Living in your perfect world must be very stressful
Get a grip it'll be okay
Endless reading of lists. Deceptive title
Artificial Unintelligence.

The other AI was a lot smarter. This one actually likes Yamamoto.
Get a real narrator. These should all get a thumbs down until they do.
The main fault of the series is the use of A.I. narration. The inconsistency in pronunciation is distracting and runs in cycles. Also it can’t recognize abbreviations. Use a human reader.
It’s free, dude.
The narrator-bot is making too many simple errors: Incorrect pronunciations, pauses & emphasis in the wrong place.
Don't waste your time.
If you're going to make a crappy narrated video, the least you could do is put some different pictures on through the show.
😂 this bot narrator is rubbish
Why?
He sounds like he's wearing lipstick an a tutu. I lasted almost ten seconds.@@WW2Stories1
@@WW2Stories1: Ridiculous mispronunciations.
@@WW2Stories1 if it can totally ruin how to say April, how accurate is thec pronounce a Japanese surname
@@WW2Stories1much worse quality
It is really bad.
