- I am back with another live series build. Sorry for the delays, we've had our fair share of other things to work on before getting to this vlog. But I present to you, the Porsche 964 Targa, which is being converted into a masterpiece by none other than Akira Nakai. It has been roughly 3 years since his last visit to the Philippines, and he always loves coming to Manila because he knows we will prepare and help him as best as we can, I want to give a shout out to my team at Car Porn Racing, Karrera Cafe, Second Skin, Fitment and to everyone who passed by this was one of the biggest highlights for 2023 and we are editing two more videos from this series. i grew up wanting a porsche. when i saw the RWB builds i was really in AWE and wanting to have one!
The build quality just shines through, amazing builds. They really make me want one....I suppose I can dream about one though lol. Im not a huge porsche person BUT these RWBs are something else! Love them. I hope you all have a great and blessed 2024 ❤❤

Thanks for sharing. Looks like a nice build. Being a Porsche purest though , the only thing I'd change on this car would be some suspension (bigger sway bars n coil overs) , lighter and bigger wheels , track tires and some small engine mods. Only reason to cut off body parts would be rust detected. Just my opinion but interesting ideas nonetheless. Cheers!

I may be not a fan of widebody kits but I appreciate Nakai-san's creations.
Would be cool of Angie works in collab with the tuner Promodet or Abflug in Japan to create highly tuned Porsches. They have worked on some of the Mid Night Speciall cars back in the 90s.

Nice vid. I have the same CAE shifter and really love it. I see that you have that annoying tpms sensor warning on the dash. Had the same on my 997 GT3RS. There is a very very simple fix. In the front trunk, take off the plastic cover that conceals the brake master cylinder and to the right, under the front fender, there is a small electronic box, the size of deck of cards that as a wire harness going into it. Just unplug the harness and presto, deactivation of the TPMS and no error codes. I couldn't believe how easy it was when I found the solution.

This is very interesting. After watching a few vids. I think that once an owner makes a decision to do this it’s more of an art/ culture/ expression for the car. I don’t see someone drives it as much as they would just becos of kit if u would even call it that. It’s kinda like an exquisite painting. Bring it out for the shows type of deal. The cutting and glueing and spray painting still hard to watch. But too watch it all come together is like an artist finishing his painting no matter how outrages he goes by doing it. The end result is amazing. Ty 4 the vid. 👍
Yes it's art for each owner. I love the process as much as the outcome! Even if I have built so many with Nakai I still enjoy the process so much.

as much as it pains me to see this it's really cool but I don't like the protruding bolts I guess it comes with a little downside. Porches image is never the same after I've seen a rwb I guess this is why Porche hate Nakai.
