Agree with your comments about power over handling. You can make a few small engine mods, intake, mapping, cams etc but for very little gain, unless you go ITB or Turbo/Supercharging. I’ve left my 182 daily stock, but the 182 track car is race prepared - suspension, brakes, tyres, cage, etc - but engine completely stock. I meet many other Clio owners at circuits who’ve done it the other way around and gone for power over the fundamentals. Straight line speed is there but they just struggle everywhere else. For road use I can’t see the point in modifying everything on these cars, I mean you can only go so fast anyway. Look forward to seeing your other videos and what you do with it. Remember, it’s a Trophy, so don’t go wrecking it 😊
Thanks for the constructive comment. I totally agree, the main focus on this car shouldn't be power because like you said you will only achieve small gains. The fact that it is a trophy is always in the back of my mine when modifying and it is a hard 1 because I do want to have fun with it. Therefore everything I may do to it must be reversible. Cheers 😉👌
Thanks for the video! I have a Chevy Cobalt LT that I've been having a ton of fun with. It currently has a front strut tower bar and a rear sway bar. I just found out I could also get a K brace for the trunk. I know my Cobalt isn't a supercar, but watching this video reminds me of how much fun I have in it.
I got a Twingo GT mk2 if you want to feature it got videos and house music I make on my channel and definitely getting one of those k braces, I live close to baf Motorsport so going to take a drive see if I can pick one up pay day. Good review you did enjoyed your video, definitely swayed me into getting one. 😎👍
