Hi from Western Washington. We are new to your channel and really enjoying your videos. Lots of great information and I like the views when you are going down the road. I really like your truck. I noticed when you were changing propane tank you almost hit your head on the slide out. I have seen stars when I hit my head on our slide out, so I took a 3-inch pool noodle and cut it about 16 inches long and cut it the middle with 2-45 degrees, when folded it to make a 90 corner. Sliced it open on the insides and stuck it on the corners. Don't forget to take it off when bringing the slide in.
    Safe and fun travels.

As he said they sold their home and they do a WRITTEN BUDGET. They are financially responsive and THAT is how they afford their lifestyle. Had you looked thru their video list, you would have seen their previous video that actually answered this very volatile question. Hopefully this helps you George to understand the sacrifices that must be made to live this lifestyle. Have a nice day.

We can set the regulator in the middle, allowing both tanks to work. But it you set it like that then you will empty both tanks without notification and end up without any propane. That's why we set it on one. When it empties we know we need to get more and we still have propane in #2.

That's the problem with leaving both tanks open. If you don't pay attention both tanks will run out and you'll be out of heat until you can refill. For that reason we leave one open and when it runs out we still have a full tank until we get time to fill the empty.
