This is what convinced me to buy power add on instead of relying on generator for our 1st camp edc this year. Thanks for sharing experience. Price difference isnt much morw once you factor in gas usage ($200 for 50 gallons) and potential per hour generator fees ($3/hr) from rental place. Plus with power you can run AC 24/7

I LOVED EDC- but the crowds this year killed it for me and our group, which broke my heart. I wanted nothing more than to be at least closer than the entry to Circuit Grounds, or closer than the arches on Kinetic Field... but the pushing and shoving it took just weren't worth it. They need to widen the spaces or enforce attendance caps (but honestly I think they crammed so much in this year for vendors, merchandise, etc. that they could just trim that and it wouldn't have been so insane).
Yeah with big names artist I usually get to the stage a good 30-40mins before their set starts. Plus i get VIP so its a lil more room. I went through the crowd with no problem. From Circuit Grounds going through Basspod can be a problem which I had going to Kinetic Field.

I was never in bad crowds the ENTIRE weekend (except for once on friday when we tried to see a set at kinetic 🙃) but we also went to some new stages & saw some diff subgenres than i have at past edcs. dnb crowd alwaysssss top tier 🔥 a lot of people complaining went to all the mainstream sets and like yeah you kinda have to expect that 😅 it was my third edc and it was so seamless and I feel like we finally got it down, was my fav one yet(: agreed so hard on day three being such an incredible fest day! the production overall was sooooo much better than the past two. i shamelessly love edc too, think I’ll be going every single year that I possibly can 😆
Feel like the most comfortable/reliable experience is going to be getting a nice hotel/airbnb OFF of the strip, renting a car and getting the premier pass, and going early every day (around 4-5pm) to avoid the traffic going in. Traffic going out is inevitable but best times to leave I found were 1am-2am, and 4am-5am, depending on how hard you wanna go that day lol
I had an amazing time this year, but there are a few things that need to change to bring me back! The food and drink prices were absolutely insane! Also the number or tickets should be scaled back a little as the oceans of people honestly felt unsafe! Additionally, how can they say they provide ADA access but i saw several handicapped folks struggling! Insomniac has to a lot better and not be so greedy!
Same thing happened to us. We camped in 2022 but had to haul a 32ft long trailer. (It was fun) but we decided that it was too expensive hauling a trailer from CA to NV. We booked an rv right after EDC 2022 to pick up at Las Vegas for us to use this EDC 23. A month prior to MAY, we noticed that the renter never took our deposit from a year ago... so i contacted him in regards to that matter...and the owner canceled on us and told us "We are not renting, nor did i approve" I was super pissed!!! I had to rent an RV from this dealership. we had to haul it from California. Again it was fun, but it added more expenses due to the gas stops. I would suggest keeping in contact with the renter if you are going to rent off them.

Omg yes the plur vibes were SOOO good at Metrik b2b Grafix! Im glad I’m not the only one that noticed that! I think Metrik b2b Grafix was my fav crowd this year by far, and second being Dimension’s crowd. But fr Basspod has got the friendliest crowds compared to Stereo Bloom, Circuit Grounds, Kinetic Field which are the stages I also went to. Some cons for this year in comparison to 2022 was they fucked up getting rid of the water station by Wasteland they had in 2022. The crowds fr ruined it for me this year too, it was irresponsible how much they oversold this year in comparison to 2022. They got rid of so much walk-around production like the dancers, not nearly as much drummers, lady bug thingy cars, I was disappointed those were lacking prob bc they knew they wouldn’t have space to walk around. But yea Dimension’s set with the fireworks was fucking magical and the highlight of edc 2023 for me. I am glad you mentioned you’d like to see edc LV to go 2 weekends, the irresponsible overselling this year leading to dangerous crowds, it needs two weekends now.
They actually put up 3 Verizon towers. Sorry to hear about the RV. I'd consider trying to file a chargeback with your credit card company for a full refund.
Speaking on your RV experience did you guys pay with your credit card or debit card? Im assuming your group is already doing this but always and always dispute charges with your credit card company especially since you have proof of all the things you went through. I always try to dispute through the main company first but most of the time they give you very little help and once youve already tried that disputing with the credit card company especially if you have good credit limit will always be your best bet as credit card companies never play and always back the customer at least thats been my experience. Hopefully you get at least 2/3 of your money back!

There is seriously so much hate towards edc this year. It’s annoying because there are ways to circumvent many of the issues if they had experienced edc goers in their group. This year was incredible and i had a wonderful time! Can’t wait for my 6th edc next year:)

As my first ever festival I can say it was awesome!! However if I must give some advice definitely don't go alone 😜 it gets lonely.

game changer and the lunchbox hydration pack is insulated at the bottom so keeps it cold all night!

Same we drove from SD! We booked through cruise America! Only issue we had was the septic hose that was broken and they hooked us up with $250 refund
