Maybe against a Lil Pump, it would be a fire Diss but not Kdot.
Let’s Break it Down.
1) Drake Only got 2 good bars in a 4 min song against Kdot; Size 7 and the king/prince/son. That’s the ONLY word play we get.
2) Drake contradicted him self twice; The Maroon 5 line, cuz there’s nothing wrong with doing songs outside HipHop. Many big rappers do/did it (Jay Z, Eminem, 50 Cent, Buster etc). It can be interpreted like jealousy from Drake. Making songs with pop starts is an accomplishment.
Secondly, Drake says he is so big he needs to hike down a mountain to talk to Kdot… I get what he is saying, BUT he should have said it in a different way. Cuz saying it like this means Kdot is powerful enough to make a king hike down to talk to him. We see it in movies all the time, where the lil guy challenges the king and the king hikes down cuz he is scared. Else, WHY even bother??
I think Eminem basically said the same thing to MGK but said it in a better way…. He said u a Mole Hill, now I will make a Mountain out of you.

3) the rest of the disses are just powerless/ weak with no word play at all. I got more money than you… we as listeners don’t care.
4) The Metro Line sounds funny, BUT powerless.
Before you compare it to the Kdot verse, it’s not perfect, but it’s powerful than this;
1) it’s just 50s
2) the disses are concentrated, he goes non stop from one diss bar to the next and the word play is there.
Just like Eminem’s response to MGK or diss to Benzino.
My point is, I prefer short, concentrated and great word play to long, diluted and almost no word play… just listing out things.
Still a good song though and plus points for responding.
