I got _SO_ excited when I saw the thumbnail with the rope dart !!
About a month after seeing the GET OVER HERE video (my inspiration to try it), I started teaching myself.
My first session lasted 7 hours and _boy_ were my shins bruised, as well as my thumb from using a ¼ inch rope.
My practice rig now is the same sand filled juggling ball tied to a short leader & secured with Gorilla Tape on the
end of about 20 feet of ½ inch Nylon/(some other synthetic I can't remember) rope, with a swivel connecting the two.
I haven't smashed up my shins (or bonked myself in the eye) for long enough that I believe I'm ready for the dart.
I think I might wait a bit on the fire wick, though...
I even got a subscription to Epidemic Sound just to get the song from the video to practice to.
("Legend" by Diskay, for those who are interested.)
