Holy smokes!! Last time I walked 16 miles was when I was lost....:D Such a lovely hike with you. Loved the bike ride. You must feel like all these peaks are old buddies now. So lovely. Jules
Hi Jules how are you? Aye it was a long hike!!! Dont mind walking for miles, But the heat always kills me. I have only climbed one quarter of Scotlands peaks so i have many more buddies to meet :))) Take care Jules, peter.
+spijkerpoes Cheers my friend, Bloody hell or words to that effect after i got home LOL! It was a shift and a half, Took me to wednesday to recover. Thanks for watching, peter.
Canny shank lol. A good one for breaking new boots in Peter? Great to tag along as always bud and a cracking day you got for it with great views from the top. Take care , see you on the next one. Mick
+blamhof New boots!? Just about broke every bone in my legs Mick LOL! What a trek that one was, Got about 5 million blisters as well. Please let the weather be s***e for next weekend LOL! Cheers mate.
Yeah Peter enjoy being out , the munro was still there for this trip , i diid that on Skye trip i was going to do this and that and shoot a lot of footage but i relaxed a lot and had a good time it was roasting , still had a couple of hikes and wildcamps and shot a fair amount of footage. That was a fair old slog , i've had an injured foot for a couple of months although it was fine in Skye , still hobble in the morning. Yes i had that at Slioch and Suilven .....the never ending walk back , it seems twice as long doesn't it.Good your back out again.
+Scots Wildcamper Thanks Eddie, Aye what a slog man! I dont usually have a problem with just walking, It's the heat that kills me. I even went an stripped off and went for a wee dip in the river on the way back it was that hot. This was sunday, Took me until wednesday to recover LOL! Cheers for watching mate.
+MUNROSnCORBETTS Yeah Peter i overheat very quickly another reason i prefer winter for the outdoors....dont get me wrong i love the sun but like to relax with a beer in those rare days.
Wow - indeed, you made some mileage there Peter! Good exercise anyway ... This might be the one for me - being used to slogging my many flatland miles over here [and not yet fit for the hills]. Was thinking, would you advise to make the combination of this Munro with the Beinn a Chlo circuit?
+Wilco de Jonge No Wilco i would not advise that combination LOL! Each one is a long slog on its own.I would maybe give it a day or two in between Wilco. But then again if your up for it........ The hot sun was a killer for me, If i didnt have 6 lt of water with me i was in trouble i think.
Well done Peter, it is indeed a long walk in. Not one to do on a hot day. Could feel your pain. Another cracking film.
+Badge McVid Cheers David, Aye it's a slog and a half! Wish i had Poppy's stamina for this one! LOL!
Nice one, thank for taking us along!
+Andy Wells Cheers Andy, Never again!!! That was a killer!
