At the last count earlier in 2020, Paul Scardino (USA) had 5,306 Funko Pop! figurines in his basement in Winchester City, Virginia, USA. The stylized vinyl models depict licensed characters from comic books, movies and games.

I have over 500 in my collection and can say I only bought 1 I don't like (Spot from the Good Dinosaur. It was reduced to £3 and I hadn't seen the movie at the time)
I love the fact that he has them OUT of the boxes. I get people upset for having collectable figures out of the boxes and I am like "it was MY money and this is MY stuff so I will do what the hell I want" and this guy took that to the extreme XD

I teach graphic design and love the box art so I keep mine in their boxes. Since mine are personal to me, I have no idea if they are worth much. I just enjoy them and their packaging.
Depends on the figure itself for me. Some I prefer in box, others out. And If I want it both ways, I'll buy 2 of them, so I can. Like I have 2 Bruno pops, one out of box on display with the rest of my Bruno merch, the other is boxed with the other Encanto characters.

@@erbertadonis597 nendos can go from 50$ - 150$ depends on their quality,rarity and accessories while if im not wrong funkos is around 15$-20$, but nendos quality is miles better compared to funkos (customized expressions and poses,accessories and mixing parts)

So assuming he paid retail price($8-$15 average), which he didn't if he started in civil war and has pops from the 2012 avengers, he would have paid just over $68k but seeing as he most likely had to go on ebay alot I'm guessing this collection ran him probably $75k - 85k. Because some of the older pops can go on ebay anywhere over $20 to extreme prices like $100 or even more. Well if you got the money go big or go home.

@@guinnessworldrecords i started collecting them in 2016 and my first one was a Deadpool one of course but now i have alot of them but its not as big as his though and it surprises me when people start collecting a certain thing and it eventually turns into alot and i thought Top Pops would have been the one to break this record because if you look at his channel he has a collection thats almost as big as this guys collection and i remembered when i had a little bit of Godzilla and Kaiju figures and Marvel Legends and DC Multiverse figures and it increased to a now somewhat big size but still not as big as anyone elses though i hope to be in a world record video some day though!
