We stayed there and did this for our Honeymoon. Already wish we were back! It was kind of funny - we got to "scan" our badges on the elevator for the "Special" level (Club level). People would remark "Ohhh fancy!!" and it was kind of a good feeling :) (My husband and I saved for this trip for close to 3 years, we are by no means able to afford this yearly - it was just something we treated ourselves too). Not going to lie - club level saved us a LOT of money from eating in the Parks. We really utilized the resort to the max and still feel that we missed a few things. We are hoping to go back for our 5th anniversary - and I cannot say enough what a special memory it was for us. Just watching this brings happy tears :) Happy new Year!
ha ha.. yes, love that 'special' feeling to go up to Club Level :) Well, I am so happy you got to experience it and enjoyed it so much... Well, for your 5th anniversary, feel free to send me an email many months in advance and we can save you even more money on your Deluxe Resort stay... I rent out some of my DVC points every year, if we are not going to be able to use them... would be happy to walk you through it and share pricing and things like that with you... great way to save! So, what resort will you be aiming for by the time of the next visit?

Yes, and this is the Club Level room you can book at some of the Deluxe Resorts... the lounge is for only those staying Club Level.. it's incredible...

@@DisneyVacationFamily I've only been to Art of Animation. We are going for the 50th in December and we're trying to decide between the Polynesian club level and Animal Kingdom club level. Your video makes me wanna choose Animal Kingdom lol. However, it's a group decision and both properties are beautiful.
Ahhh... yes... the infamous 'group decision' :) Well, I am sure that you will love either one and have a blast! Are you a DVC member? AKL is the only club level that you can actually use DVC points to book... which is a huge benefit...

Oooooo... thank you for sharing. We've not been. FUN, fun, fun. I think we would just hang around there, if we did this. Lots of neat food options. They even made peanut butter and jelly look fancy! Impressive. Awesome job, Luca, the room looked pretty..Bummer for the rain keeping the animals from coming out, too bad it was your least favorite view. I think club level should include a guaranteed Savannah view. The way they put the granola in the burlap sack was a cute. Looks like you all had a great time.. Even though we didn’t utilize this as much as we should have, it was still worth it for us. Definitely next level service. I like how when checking in outside they walked us into the lobby and took us up the elevator to the Kilimanjaro Club and offered us drinks. From the start of our trip it was extra magical. Nice Share and a great job on this video👍🏻

I think club level is perfect for a romantic staycation, resort only, no parks. We plan to do this very very soon. Thanks for showing all the great food and drink options, we were really interested in that. Wasn't too pleased with the view however, but we can always go to the viewing areas if we decide to leave the room.
Oh, it's fabulous! The nice part is that you don't pay for the view... if you are booking a non-Club Level room, you choose balcony type and pay different rates for savanna view versus standard view... in Club Level, you don't have an option.. .you may get partial savanna or pool views...but you also don't pay differently for either option... if you check out my May 2022 vlogs (just posted 4 so far and will be posting the remaining days shortly, you can also see more club level offerings as of May 2022... they also have alcohol included... it's really a great way to stay... yes, the viewing areas are abundant.. I don't personally prefer the savanna options at Jambo over Kidani, but to stay Club Level, we have to be at Jambo.. we just love it... if booking via DVC, you have to be on literally at 8 AM the morning of your 11-month window... and even then, you probably end up waitlisting it...

We LOVE the Kilimanjaro Club which is the Club Level or Concierge Level at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Jambo House... so many great snacks, drinks and foods... and it even included alcoholic beverages! Have you stayed Club Level? What did you think of it? Have any questions? Feel free to ask! :)
Hello, I booked a club level room for next august. I know you have to use your magic band to access the club level floor/section. Do we need to verify who we are each time we go to the lounge or just once at check in?
After you check-in, you will never have to 'verify' who you are... you just need to ensure that a member of your registered party is using their magic band or else you cannot get the elevator to go to the lounge floor, and you cannot open the doors that allow access from the outer stairways... you will love it... such a fun experience as long as you are planning on spending some time at the resort :)

No, sorry... never been at the Club Level at Yacht/Beach Club... heading back to AKL Club Level next week though! How are the offerings now? Is it similar to pre-pandemic still?

Yes, we bought at Animal Kingdom Lodge largely to be able to have a chance at booking Club Level rooms at Jambo House... it's an awesome experience... love it! Hard to get it though... usually have to waitlist it...
This is probably a silly question . Do you have to tip the staff member that greeted you at the beginning or is her service apart of the nightly rate you pay for to stay in club level luxury resort ? I’m from New Zealand and do not understand tipping … tipping in New Zealand isn’t forced or relied on . Just want to make sure I understand how it works and if it’s worth forking out extra on top of what we would be paying for coming from so far away 😊
No, you are not obligated to tip anyone... however, it would be customary and courteous to tip service providers... ultimately, you could stay in this room and tip no one for anything during your stay... I tip bell services if I have them store or transfer my bags... I tip all food servers in restaurants... I tip all drivers for private transfers... I do not tip the on-property transportation people typically (though I have on occasion)... I do not tip the lounge staff in this club level or the concierge greeter... I do leave a tip for the housekeeping staff.... tips can range from $5 to 20% of a meal cost at restaurants (in general)... but, as I said, you could stay here and spend $0 on tips if you desired... it would not be abnormal to not leave a tip for the housekeeping people or the on-property transportation providers... obviously, at dining (in a restaurant), you would leave a tip... and as mentioned, if you use the bell services, should tip them... lots of these people rely upon tipping for good service as a substantial part of their earnings. I hope that helps!

Does the bathroom have a tub/shower combination or a walk-in shower?
The studios at both Jambo House and Kidani Village have a combo tub/shower... but the 1-bedroom villas are much bigger and offer two bathrooms... Jambo's 1-bedroom offers a split bathroom situation while Kidani's 1-bedroom offers two full bathrooms, one with a tub/shower combo and the other with a full tub and then a separate, full stand-up shower... very nice... the 1-bedroom villa at Kidani is also slightly larger than that of Jambo house
What time was the lunch put out?
Oh, jeez... I can't really recall but there were usually items out throughout the day and then likely prior to noon they brought out a large portion of food and topped everything up, and brought out some hot stuff... it's a great experience to stay concierge... always treats and drinks available.. and if you want something that isn't out, the staff are always so helpful to try to accommodate...
Do they refill the food if it becomes empty
Oh, yes... they have dedicated cast members managing the food area... and if something is low or gone that you want, you can just ask and they will get it for you... sometimes, as the feeding or snack windows near closing, they do not continue replenishing... but again, just ask and they will do what they can... it's a really awesome experience... we love it... saves us breakfast costs each morning... reduces our out-of-pocket costs for drinks through the day, and we have even made it work for dinner on occasion (small servings but can have as many as you want)...

Club Level ALWAYS includes the food, drinks and snacks... any Club Level or Concierge Level you do would be similar to what you saw in my video but maybe with different options, etc.
I don' t think this is a "club level" room. this looks to be a "club level STUDIO (DVC). I own at AKV and this category is EXTREMELY difficult to get. Regardless, I enjoyed your review!!! I love Kilamanjaro club level at Jambo.
Yes, this is a room in the Kilimanjaro Club (Club Level or Concierge) at Jambo House, booked through my DVC membership. It is a Deluxe Studio option. So, it IS a Club Level Room, absolutely. Not a hotel side room but a Deluxe Studio through DVC. Yes, not easy to book... even at the 11-month window. We were lucky enough to book it again for May 2022... cannot wait... it is such a treat to stay Concierge and enjoy the enhanced service, turndown service, and the wonderful snacks and foods offered at the lounge. No, as noted in the description, this footage was pre-pandemic... this was a trip just prior to COVID... but to my understanding, Club Level re-opened at AKL... we are actually booked for Club Level at Kilimanjaro Club for this coming May 2022... so excited to get back and enjoy it!
