Please update this video. I see so many misplays and the deck doesn’t work. You are trying to perform illegal summons and saying with confidence “that’s how you summon Dragoon”.
I’m not hating on the attempt but you should correct everything to not misguide.
PS. Drop The Light, that card is so trash.
In the 2nd test hand, use Mirrorjade's effect to send a Dragon fusion monster from your extra deck to the GY, banishing even itself if need be, for Memories to fuse Buster Blader and the sent fusion dragon, keeping Dragon Buster Destruction Sword in the GY to equip to the Swordsman after the synchro effect.
Ive always chained memories to prologue. Memories is an ignition effect and it and bb is sent as cost so it doesn’t affect the timing.
You’re correct. I was confused when he said you miss timing because it’s pretty well known that you can chain memories to prologue. That’s the combo. Lol.
Nice decklist & combo's! mine's a little bit different but has the same kind of plays. Only difference is a shaddoll packages. i also prefer salamangreat almiraj instead of linkuribo, because it can protect BB/Buster dragon & linkuribo is often negated/destroyed before it's usefull.
A side-note tho: buster blader fusion cannot be re-summoned from the grave by branded banishment, as it states it can only be fusion summoned. Banishment special summons.
That is also why cards like monster reborn do not work on buster blader fusion.
And now to analyse test hand.
1. You’re not accounting for hand traps. Let’s face it Ash Blossom exist.
Opening with Trap Trick isn’t the best way to play that.
On Prologue: you can chain Memories on top of Prologue if you have the materials in GY on the activation of Prologue. This prevents monster effects negating the Equip effect of Buster Dragon and also dodges Called By and Crow etc.
I also notice you don’t run DS Fusion (is a super poly built into the Blader archetype).
2. Ok so the normal summon should never be first unless it’s the only play. You need to bait the Ash (if you have a search that doesn’t matter, that’s better than opening with a normal).
Lub is a Lv 7??? Holy crap that opens up a lot of Lv8 synchro plays… unless you locked yourself into fusions which kind of sucks. My Lv7s consist of Nessie and Vishuda, any of those summoned turn 1 is free win with Whelp.
So when you say downside to memories banishing Dragon Buster, you wouldn’t have to if you didn’t lock yourself into fusion. You can do so much more with whelp than normal add. It’s a monster reborn, it special summons itself. These things are so able turn 1.
Again you can activate Memories in the same chain as Prologue no need to resolve Prologue.
Ruling: Prologue activation has a cost to send 1 Buster Blader and a Destruction Sword card. Effect: to summon from Extra deck or GY.
Countered by Ghost Belle not Ash (some people try to Ash Prologue and has to be told it’s cost).
3. No adding Dragon Buster is only viable on your 3rd search(if you haven’t yet). You have to add Memories on that search as it allows you to send Dragon for cost. Memories get you a buster blader(retrained) and have your Dragon Buster in GY on same turn. So your Board is Buster Dragon/ Buster Blader(R) with Dragon Buster equipped and Buster Blader (Fusion). That sir is the hard lock. If they out the fusion they cannot summon from extra. If they kill retrained they have no effects on field (possession if they run dragon deck).
You misread the Dragon Buster: it has to be Buster Blader if using it’s effect to equip. It can be any Buster Blader monster if equip using Buster Dragon effect. Any monster if using Union Carrier.
I said this in your previous video but Dragoon is dead in Buster Blader decks. Take it from a guy that plays the archetype since Breakers of Shadow. You have to use Red Eyes to summon the Dragoon. Albion summon effect doesn’t ignore summoning condition. And it clearly says on The Light: The other monster(s) must be correct.

If you tried this in any sanctioned game, you lose 100% no doubt. You can’t do half the things he says as it’s illegal and just generally misplay. And also it’s very inefficient. The way he demonstrated allowed too many opportunities for the opponent to counter play. Everything needs to be decisive and happen in the same chain.
For example in demonstration with 2 Flash opening hand: If you’re to open with Whelp you need to search Memories at this point as you have Prologue in hand. Then Link off into Kuriboh, set back row keeping one Flash in hand. On Draw Phase, open with Memories let it resolve. You now have options depending if you know what your opponent playing or not. If not go main phase. If you do and you know they need effs on field and extra deck then you must full combo in Standby. So Prologue sends Dragon Buster and OG Blader (you should always summon the retrained when using Memories, has more value then attack boost). Same chain activate Memories on GY banishing Whelp and OG Blader. On resolution Buster Dragon eff to equip.
That is the way to play Buster Blader. It’s a simple control archetype. Play it like a control deck with 1 big combo chain and it’s simple as - me big beat stick you no effs me attack game.
Just letting you know that Buster blader the dragon destroyer swordsman had an errata, so it can be special summoned in any other way
It can’t be special summoned. The errata reads “must be fusion summoned” which is different from “must first be fusion summoned”. Pre- and post-errata is the same exact effect they simply made it shorter by taking out words.
Ive been a buster blader player forever..trap trick prevents the activation of a Trap CARD for the turn,except for 1. But using a Trap card EFFECT from the grave is not techniqually activation an entire "Card". Sorta like how when I activate a continuous spell card onto the field VS me using a contrinuous spell cards' already-on-the-field effect to do something.
Additionally,you cannot chain paleos to memories in grave ability as well,because Paleozoics require the activation of a Trap Card. I.e.
Note the difference in the counter traps as well...
"When a spell /Trap card OR EFFECT ,is activated...."
So if you have played Trap trick add set one prologue you can't chain with memories ?

Memories isnt a card activating,it's an effect from the grave,banish for cost to activate
In the third replay, you can‘t equip the dragon buster to the fusion, you can only equip to a „buster blader“ with its own effect, but nice test hands anyway

During the 2nd test hand. Couldn’t you use mirrorjade to banish one from your side of the field to have the spots for the full buster blader lock?? Or do you want mirrojade’s effect live during your opponent’s turn?
Couldn't he have made linkuriboh with the whelp and then send that for the Buster Blader fusion monster, so that the other whelp could be added to the fusion monster 🤔

@@lordofdragons-yk5nz Darn right! Both archetypes may revolve around Fusions, but they’re both fairly specialized, so mixing them together is a cool idea on paper, but may be tricky in reality.
Can you do a tutorial on how to trim fingernails short, I can't get mine trimmed that far before it starts to hurt.
Well, I can see that this deck definitely has potential. I can only hope that when I eventually try it, I don’t falter.
On a side note, I have a challenge for you. Will you consider making an “anime-style deck”? By that, I mean that you don’t run *ANY* duplicate cards, at *all.* Just 40 (or 60) single cards. It doesn’t have to be a competitive deck, but it should be playable. Beyond that, it’s entirely in your hands.
