The easiest way to deal with the connector on the EB-432 is to attach it before connecting the balun body to the radial plate. This will also allow easier/better weatherproofing of the connector. The Eggbeaters are broad band and usable for commercial satellite monitoring also.
I want one of these!
The CSN SAT tracker is a perfect fit for the setup.
I think these antennas cost too much.
Thanks Gaz I’ve been looking at that setup for a while now! I may decide to go chasing the Birds Hi
add a few elements they would make a great bird cage :-)
very nice. love to try one
Brilliant! Thanks Gary. Looks like the duplex isolation between 2m and 70cms, in the 9700, is pretty good if the antennas are that close....?
It works just fine, the clip was James M0JFP working one of the leo sats, we did play on the ISS repeater also great fun..
How much ..? I want this a product
Way too expensive
Well Done! I have 1/2 of the 2m/70cm Yagi setup already. Just doing it little by little, to keep the shock of outlay down a bit🤷♂️. I wish I’d seen this before going down the big antenna route. Thanks for a great video. KQ4IXD
In the early 90's I was ZP6XD in Paraguay and had a nice complete station and was a member of AMSAT-US and AMSAT-UK, went to AMSAT conventions in Orlando, FL, and Arizona, worked KO-23 and KO-25 digital mode satellites, did EME, and many other things. Those were the good days! Now I live in Chile, and I wondering if there is anything new in Amateur Satellite technology that is worth getting into? Like high speed digital modes, or high resolution earth imaging with downloading, or possibly direct laser link communications between ground stations and satellites? What is new?
Did u find anything?
@@edex-automacaoindustrial2731 No, not yet.
How well would this antenna work in an attic? Does anyone carry and sell this antenna in the USA?
