I completely agree with you. I blind bought this in NYC and I do indeed regret it. It smells ultra generic. Not at all Chanel-like. It smells like a $50 Light Blue flanker or something Mont Blanc would put out.
I went with low expectations, thanks to this review, but I was actually pleasantly surprised. Nothing revolutionary but pretty darn good at what it does, and the quality seems very nice to me.
I believe the whole "limited edition" releases are for the sole purpose of forcing people to buy the fragrance especially collectors and frag heads, even for normal people since ypu can sell it on eBay for double the price later on, while also avoiding the risk of failure since the production is limited and almost guaranteed to be sold out
Sounds like you hit the nail on the head - Superleggera means Super Light. sounds like what your thought in the end. Light and simplistic is definitely a trend in designer perfumery that is picking up steam.

This smells very simialr to the og allure homme sport minus the airiness and added woodines and grapefruit. Sure its not groundbreaking but it definitely has that "chanel twist." Its a great fragrance and i actually prefer this to the orginal AHS. I love both of them though.

I literally just bought this Cologne from Macy's here in the United States it is an exact duplicate of the Johnny Depp Promoted savage fragrance I do mean an exact duplicate they should be ashamed of themselves

It smells Rasai Hawas no joke. It smells very common . Hawas is literally $60 bucks or less and smells exactly like this chanel

Bottle is nice. As for performance, longevity is excellent (10+ hours), projection is moderate though.
