Thank you - we have chosen to use a combination of balsa and 3 mm poplar veneer, to be able to make a wing that you can collect as a 3d puzzle, 3 mm poplar is a little heavier than light balsa wood but not very much and even if the model comes to to weigh a little more, it is not essential for the flight characteristics, as the model has a very large plane area
hello DANE, beautiful model LEPRECHAUN, I want to ask you a question, you know what is the name of the wing profile that the leprechaun has ??, example EPLER, SELIG, NACA, what is it? I'm digitizing it to be able to cut it in laser, I have the plans, but the name of the profile does not appear in any of them, sorry for the inconvenience and thank you very much in advance.
For our model we have used the original profile from the original Leprechaun made by Dick Twomey, but I do not know what it is called, have not been able to find it elsewhere

I prefer not to use CA glue as I can not tolerate the fumes of it, but we have now started selling glue from DeLuxe and it is really some good products they have and then they are not toxic :-) see more on our website dane-rc.dk/vare-kategori/accessories/glue/deluxe-materials/

I just ordered the XL, it was on stock at Zeller-Modellbau (D) and within 2-3 days delivered. 🙂
