Sadly, I did not have the words to put it that way back then and couldn't explain it to people because the concept was so much more foreign/disgusted 10 years ago when I was in school. I'm really sad Teddy B. is in the situation he is in, but also I'm really glad society has given him more words and power to understand himself and and work towards truly being himself. We still have such a long way to go for trans acceptance but I can see the progress we've made just over a decade. The fact that you're willing to publicly share this means so much to me.
