      I agree with all the parenting messages. I do want to thank you for staying home and raising the girls yourself. I did that myself and enjoyed all of the firsts of their babyhood. Now I am a grandma and my daughter has 15 month old which I see only about every three weeks. I want to thank you for sharing your twins with us. I love them and watch them every day. They fill in when I can’t see my grandson. They live 2 1/5 hours away. Carry on Momma and Dada!

      I fee the same! Walt and Alicia have taught me so much. I wish I would have done a few things differently with my 2 grown children after watching these videos. I told my daughter that the other day. I was young, look back and wonder how my children grew up to be so strong, successful and loving. My daughter said "Mom you did the best you could. You did great." Bless her heart. Walt and Alicia are as much of a blessing to watch as Ana and Guin. I learn so much from each one. God bless the Barton family ✝

I like the way Alicia how you bargain with the girls so they can at least try the foods!! It works!! The girls will try the food as long as they get something in return!!! Smart very smart. Today I loved how you both used the measuring spoons as a tool for them to learn how to scoop!!! They continued to want to eat the Swedish meatball as well!!!Great parents and two adorable angels!!

  • @phyllislen2792
    @phyllislen2792 5 месяцев назад +8

    What amazing patience you 2 parents have!! Getting them to eat this time was unusually challenging, but your idea with changing spoons paid off! Also, Ana saying several times, "It's too much" to me meant the pieces were too large but she didn't know how to express it. She stuffed a couple of large poeces into her mouth but then gave up. Most kids this age do stuff too much into their mouth at once but should learn how to take a bite if it's "too much" It seemed like no one was understanding Ana or delving into what she wanted. She gave up and seemed to look sad. I felt bad for her. But she is talking up quite a bit more than usual so I'm so happy to see that!

    Brilliant Mom and Dad!! You guys are the best! A lot of parents(I think) would give up. But colorful measuring spoons?.....Brilliant!! Love how you two work together to help the girls eat what they previously didn't want to even try. A true display of love, caring and not to mention patience and creativity making sure girls ate their dinners. I remember my mom would make me sit for as long as it took on the dinner table until I cleaned up my plate.
    And I think, but I could be totally wrong, When Ana was saying "too much", it could have meant, "too big", regarding her noodles/pasta...idk. Anyway, I love you guys, I enjoy watching the girls every morning. It's a sad day for me today, but the girls have always lifted my spirits when I might be feeling sad and down like I am this morning. Love and lots of blessings to you all!

    Alicia, I got a good laugh when you said hmm what eats a Shark? oh okay, Guinevere you can be the Fisherman who eats the Shark.
    It looks like a lot of love went into making the Swedish meatballs, and as much love and patience went into getting the girls to try the delicious-looking dinner!

    Guin & Ana are such a hoot. I loved their mic check. 😂
    Momma and Dada are so intuitive. I liked the changing of the spoon. Guin had 3, but not for long.
    Thanks for sharing. See you tomorrow. ❤️❤️

    We had Swedish meatballs with rice last week and at the time, I thought of the girls and wondered if they’d had Swedish meatballs yet. Who knew they could make eating them so much fun for us to watch. You two are amazing in how you got them to try it. I wonder how long it actually got them to try them. You can tell they’re not as quick to try new things like they used to but you always make it fun for them.
