What smart idea to put your jewelry in those little drawstring bags and hang them on the hanger with the dress! So easy to keep everything organized and also to keep track of everything
It's the first time I've done it and will definitely do it again, it made getting ready super easy!

My favourite ship ever. I adore the QV and have sailed on her more than any other Cunard ship over the years. There to us seems to be always a wonderful atmosphere with simply the best crew. I have never sailed Queens grill and am loving looking at your super cabin, we’ve done Club Balcony but who knows one day what we will treat ourselves to. BTW the fish and chips in the pub are delicious. Thank you for taking us with you xx
Hi Margaret, we were so impressed with the ship and preferred a lot of aspects to the Queen Mary. Britannia Club looks a really good option, I thought the Club restaurant on QV looked beautiful, we may well try that at some point. You'll see the fish and chips starring in tomorrow's video - you're right - absolutely delicious! x

I am struggling to find a video you did on Queen's Grill dining which was absolutely brilliant - it was I think about 20 minutes long and showcased all the ways you could enjoy the QG dining experience. Could you link it for me please? I've searched and searched but RUclips search isn't helping me! Many thanks David

So lovely to see you both so happy and even giddy on this posting. The ship is so much nicer being more traditional. Those big ships in the Caribbean look far too big and crowded for my taste and a bit Disney. Your cabin was the nicest I have seen on a ship. The bath and a shower was a real surprise. The pub looked real cosy and the dining room and food very inviting. Why do I always like the expensive options. Champagne taste and beer budget.
Oh, how fun! I started following you because I was looking for information on Atlantic crossings via the QM2. This cabin is so much bigger than your cabin on the QM2 and it is just lovely. I have loved that quote at the end for some time and it's true. And Ashley is so funny! Looking forward to more cruise videos, yay! I hope to some day take that trans-Atlantic cruise like you did 👍
Hiya, it's actually a similar size to the QM2 cabin, but more open plan so looks bigger. It doesn't have the separate walk in wardrobe / dressing room part. Balcony is definitely a lot bigger in this cabin though.

What a fabulous spacious room you had and also a spacious terrace. Any other videos I have seen of people on cruises they have had tiny rooms & bathrooms with either tiny or no balacony! I think if ever I cruised I would like to have a room like that. Unfortunately even though my husband wants to go on a cruise as I suffer from some motion sickness I just worry I would be ill a lot of the time!!

I can't remember the category, I'm afraid, but it was one of the QG suites at the aft end of the ship.

@@CarolineMrsM fly to Rome then around Europe for the first fortnight, over to New York, then down to Curacao, Caymans, Panama, Costa Rica, Cuba, Mexico, Dominican Republic, to name a few then New Orleans for last night and flight home. It makes the very long working year worth it! Feel guilty about not taking sons but we took them on a driving holiday last year through Europe and they didn’t really want to spend the time with us to be fair 😂 I’m very excited. It’s been a tough few years for most so it is hugely welcome. Just shown my partner this vlog and we are going to look at this one too…he loves Hamburg ❤️

I understand that engine vibration noise is a known issue with Queens suites at the stern of the Queen Victoria. Hope you weren’t too impacted. x
It was fine on this cruise, but I think if we'd been spending much time outside it would have been a bit irritating.
The cabin looks really nice. Caroline where did you buy that jumper It’s lovely and you suit it.
The black one? It was a local discount store a year or so ago, they'd cut out the label so I don't know the brand, sorry.

Hi Verity, they are both cats that I follow on Instagram and were a joke present from Ashley. I don’t know what company he used, but if you Google ‘personalised cushion’ you can have any photo made into a cushion, there are quite a few companies that do it 😊
