cryopods can be used anywhere now in ark, you don't need the fridge to open them
@ButchX3 not sure if you know this or not but you can jump back and forth between arks with your character. You can collect things from here and bring them back to your island map. Its a good way to get tech stuff by bring back element collected through your gameplay. I believe you would have to use your character from the island and recommend looking up how to if you chose to

Hey Butch! Good to see you back in ARK! At 09:30 you said; i dont need the metal stuff (from the loot drop). You can actually place the metal stuff, break it down, and get the resources from it lik you did with the mirror the last episode(cementing paste, metal).

Welcome to the a.m. ark playing club. Many a 2, 3, 4 a.m. playing. I have even stayed up all night long with no sleep playing. Once you get to building, you don't want to stop.
That happened to me when I first played ARK. Play the game then you look up, 7 hours passed by.

I've had some of the most traumatic ARK experiences in SE. The first time I played the map, my friend and I loaded into one of the "easy" sections, and as we harvested the basics, my friend said calmly, "There's a dragon here." I laughed and kept harvesting stone. Then he repeated the statement louder, as it flew overhead and we scattered like rats. Yes, the game did bug and just RANDOMLY spawned it in the area. But SE left an impression after that experience LOL
So you were wondering about weird dino levels. When you started your singleplayer game, all dinos spawned in at default levels (multiplier of 1). If you then enabled the max difficulty, this does not overwrite the old dinos. You have to do a Dino Wipe (console command is DestroyWildDinos) to first remove the default dinos. The dinos that spawn from there will be correct level.

he definitely makes it a lot more entertaining than others. i think it's the story-telling element he brings to it, with the commentary cuts and the fitting music to whatever scenario he's in.

@VNOMALII Yeah! I just wonder how long it takes before the BBC or some other network notices him. He seems to prep a lot and think through his videos and voiceovers. I work a lot with live broadcasting and TV here in Sweden, and there are actually several hosts and other people in front of the cameras here who started their careers on RUclips. He has a really good "TV voice" as well. :)
The first episode inspired me to reinstall Ark and I’ve been playing all week. Today I tamed a 150 Argy, leveled it up to like 260, and promptly got it killed at the Scar by a fire wyvern. I immediately uninstalled, I’ll get my Scorched experience through Deano’s trauma instead of my own.

Haha. I bet it won’t remain uninstalled for long. That’s how Ark works. You can put it down for a while, but once you start you never really stop.
@DreadEnder I have over 10k hours in PvP Ark, a lot of it spent raising batches of like 20 gigas at a time for a mega tribe on official pvp servers with vanilla rates. That's hand-feeding them for like a full day in between constant meat runs. I've been "retired" for years haha, now what I want from Ark is fun gameplay while I'm chilling and listening to music instead of playing it like a job.
So yeah TLDR, you're right- I'm already thinking about messing around on The Center in single player xD (Rag is my favorite map tho)

Dinos get fall damage only when you are riding them. When you nearly touch the ground click e and no one is getting damage

Ahhh the classic accidently hit E on an Argy in mid flight....I have done that so many times I now keep my E key finger OFF the keyboard compactly when playing now.
I just keep a couple parachutes on me basically at all times 😂
If you haven't already, take a look at the Bob's Tall Tales pack. It adds some neat comsetics, new structures, new items, and lets you tame one new creature per story map. Scorched Earth's cosmetics are all wild west/cowboy themed

@@zakarymcleod1850 both of you, ASA has become a total joke due to people buying those packs. The game has become a shell of ASE. Firstly ASA was meant to be a free upgrade to ASE then after that they start charging for dinosaurs and ridiculous gimmicks that put you at a huge disadvantage if you don't buy them. Before you know it half of the dinosaurs on a map you will have to pay to tame them
@mattsmith5421 You aren't wrong, but not everyone cares to play competitive official PVP. I think a guy in singleplayer making content for RUclips should be able to buy DLC
@@zakarymcleod1850 I'm taking about pve. Nobody plays PvP on ASA they've gone back to ASE because it's not a balanced play field. In pve the stupid Dino scanner you can buy means if you don't have it you aren't getting any decent dinosaurs until the map is pretty much dead.

Congratulations. I am genuinely impressed. Also, I'm rather surprised you managed to find the wyvern trench so early on. Part of me was expecting you to go a few more episodes without seeing it... Followed by learning the hard way just how difficult that area can be to escape from once you've been spotted.

Yeah there's some weird glitch where bees don't seem to spawn in single player. Not sure what you can do about that that doesn't involve cheat spawning one in. Love the vid - I don't need loot - I need my life! New slogan of the decade.
Hello Butch, if you want better levels you need to change the difficulty to 5.0 that's the standard difficulty for official and Dino's will come in intervals of 5 levels (lv5 10 15 20 so on til 150) it's all good now because you're at the beginning but later on when you need high levels it will help alot

They can't be tamed, only hatched. The eggs need a lot of heat. You also need milk from a female.
Wyverns are cool and all but I like Shadowmanes, Managarmrs, Rock Drakes and Tusos. (None of those are on SE though, or I maybe mistaken)
I honestly haven't been happier watching someone play through my favorite game since I watched you play through the island and do it all without using the wiki or guides and just explored and learned how we all did at first. Keep it up Butch!! Hell of a series man.

When that hyperfocus sets in during ARK, you're not going to be getting any sleep. Especially if you're easily side-tracked. Before the first hyperfocus train is over, another shows up and takes you on a wild ride.
Butch you got so lucky avoiding that wyvern! With Wyverns, you have to look in the little alcoves in the rock to find nests, and steal the eggs. I was able to do it with an argy that had three others following, but you have to have high stamina to be able to outrun them! Also be prepared to take a lot of damage and lose your spares. Depending on your maturation rate, you may need to knock out a low level female wyvern and access her inventory to get milk. It’s the only thing baby wyverns will eat!

The Adobe protects you from storms and high heat
For the Bees and their honey, the hives can spawn all the way up the canyon walls, so you are better off using an argy to try and find one
It's certainly a sight to see tol see how far you've progressed. Succeeding in the first 2 caves on your first try. Surviving your first Wyvern encounter. A lot of people are foolish enough to try to save their tames when over there. You just grabbed what you could and ran. You've improved at split second decision making.

If you turned on max lvl dinos. You might have to do a wild dino wipe to get the new dinos to respawn. Also, hit the transfer all and fly away from the drops, then look at them after it's faster.

i assume you didn't do a wild dino wipe after you installed the custom dino levels mod so the old levels will still be around until they die off and new ones spawn

Back when SE first dropped on ASA Thyla jumping was broken; I didn't discover this until I tried to jump those gaps in that cave... Glad they're fixed and you're off to a good start to beat this map.

Pyromanes cannot be tamed unless you have the ‘fantastic creatures’ dlc!! Don’t feel bad about spoiling this to you for one but cuz they aren’t even supposed to be on scorched but they are anyways
pyromanes are paid dlc i believe you cant tame without it. And its a bit annoying to tame but love them so much ( they are a new variant on Shadowmanes which don't exist in Ascended yet
