    As for the sata cables and the main power cable leading to the motherboard that you removed at first. I located both of these on my computer and while holding down the tab, attempted to pull them out. I could not. The sata cable end plugged into the motherboard would not come out, i even went as far as to use plyers and even with plyers i could not remove it.

I liked your video a lot. I found it very practical and professional. Great work. A big hug, and success. Thanks a lot.

    HELLO CTE! Am an avid Subscriber, you are my first 'Go to' when diagnosing PC issues! I recently built a new Computer in my old Tower with a new Raidmax Vampire 1000W 80 Plus Gold Power Supply, an MSI Z390-A PRO Motherboard with an Intel Pentium Gold Processor G5400 CPU @ 3.7GHz! Next added 64.0 GB DDR4 3200 Ram! Also a ZOTAC GAMING GeForce GTX 1 Video Card! Recently upgraded all my HHD's with an Intel 660p Series M.2 1 TB SSD Drive C and two WD I TB internal SSD's! My Computer now boots up completely for a cold start in 30 seconds!!!! (Once in a while when I turn it on, it Boots into the Bios Screen)!!!(But when I wont to boot into Bios, no matter what key combination I press it wont go into Bios on Command)! Windows will not display on my Digital Monitor but I can see the Bios Screen on another HDMI Output to my 32 inch TV! Am running XMP Mode and Gaming Mode on the MSI along with allocating 3/4 of my Ram to Process my Adobe Premiere 2022! My Question is: How do I get the computer to Boot into Windows EVERY TIME? And secondly, How do I get my computer to boot into Bios on command?

    I'm newly learning computers for CompTIA A+ to try to break into the IT field. This video is quite helpful to see how to take apart a computer and put it back together and what the different parts are!
    I know he said he'd mention it more in another video, but i just want to see if maybe I'm thinking of this the correct way. He put one single stick of RAM on the motherboard, does that mean it's likely just has 2GB of RAM installed, but could have 4GB if he had another stick to put in the second slot?
    Also, would that AMD CPU he pointed out be considered LGA (land grid array)? That's not PGA (pin grid array), right?
    And one last question, would you use the antistatic bag and/or an electrostatic discharge bracelet throughout the whole time that you're assembling and disassembling the computer or just when you're specifically handling the motherboard?

    • @JJFlores197
      @JJFlores197 9 месяцев назад +1

      1st question, yes. If you only install 1x 2GB module, the PC will have 2 GB of RAM. If you install 2x 2GB modules, it will have 4 GB of RAM. In computers, it is good practice to always use the same brand and model of RAM. Most PCs will work ok if you put different brands of RAM, but some can be very picky and won't work well or at all if they have mismatched modules installed.
      2nd question. AMD used PGA CPUs up until the release of AM5 for consumer level systems.
      3rd question. Proper procedure is to always use an anti-static wrist band or mat when working on computers or electronic devices. Its not mandatory, but it can help prevent ESD damage. In some industries, you're required to use an anti-static method.

    I have an ancient rig from 2004 that I want to discover. Until I bought a laptop in 2011, I never felt the need to disassemble or even open up the case. I had to disassemble the whole motherboard just to upgrade the RAM with an HP Pavilion laptop, which I'm glad nothing got broken xD so I got more interested in hardware since then. Also I want to build my own rig and I know I'll be enjoying it. So just researching the desktop side.
    I have a question;
    After I take off the CPU would I need to add thermal paste or I can just put it back as It's?

    • @Dragonslair7
      @Dragonslair7 7 лет назад
