Absolutely, I'm on terrible rural internet, so I have like a 2 hour download ahead of me, but I'm super stoked. Can't wait. Deciding between going with Cryo first, dk or trying out priest changes
@@anotherlostomen I feel you, I recommend limiting the steam download speed to something that stays at a more stable MS rate if it seems to go up and down for you. Tends to help keep a stable connection
I have played 2 classes from my time on PT3 being Cryo and DK. Personally I think I might go with either Druid or Swordmaster just to change it up
nice teamwork man! i'm playing a rogue right now. my only issue with the game is that it's pretty tough to do loot runs if your low on gold, otherwise its perfect so far. i'll probably switch to cryo next playtest and try him out
Once you're low gold, kind of agree. The second day I went down to like 300 gold. So what I did was load into casual castle and just do chest runs outside of the buildings.
It's pretty easy as swordmaster, druid, or rogue because you can drop mob aggro as you open chests.
Can you do heirloom runs with those weird classes?
I'm personally not super in love with the heirlooms. Of course, I have barely upgraded them at all. I find it much easier to get gold and then build a set with stats I like. And if I need the gold to build a set, I just run a casual castle run in greys and loot chests and stuff.
Hey! I'm the rogue in the vid and a couple things:
1 Absolutely try out more classes. In its current state I think rogue struggles in solos (esp against fighter and swordmaster) but I think its value in 2s and 3s cannot be understated.
2 IMO you NEED the dex passive on rogue especially for loot runs. Which like you said is tough to get with no gold. I would make the crossbow and dexterity necklaces for heirlooms (and then whatever armor piece you want). With green heirlooms you are 2 dex away from passive so you kinda just have to pray you get a dex ring or piece when looting which sucks but that's what I do. It usually involves me dying 10 times but that 1 time you extract usually makes up for it. Also, it's absolutely worth trying Mithril Order if you're playing rogue solo. You don't get the stun but you get better eq pretty quickly and it helps you unlock heirlooms really fast.
@@KhasterGaming thank you very much sir for your great input, i agree that dying 10 times is made up by one good run but i was finding that even that one good one was hard to get, ill try the dexterity method with heirlooms and try to see if i can get my dex up for stealth without spending money that i dont have. thanks a lot.

Hi, man! I'm just trying myself Dungeonborne, picked Cryomancer because it looked for me just like frost mage from WoW, as you said! But I didn't get how to replenish my mana for spells. But it named differently. "Soul energy" or something like that. How do I replenish this resource, so I can stay in game? Got into the lobby, cleared the first room, realized that I can't cast spells anymore and got into portal as soon as I can, lol. Probably a total noob question, but I don't care. Someone, plz, help me)
When things die, they drop orbs on the map that you absorb when you move closer to them. Also if you get enough dexterity for the dex passive you get energy when you crit
Ive been thinking about running the dual storm staff blizzard combo myself haha, how do you think it fairs solo? I imagine youd have to be whacking stuff with staff melee
So, I've actually moved back to storm staff and mace / shield lately, especially solo. Having the mace gives me an easier time hitting all 4 passives and the root can be really helpful
@@anotherlostomen you can't use maces as cryomancer, maybe you mean orb and sword?

what enchantments on equipments do you pref for Cryomancer?
I need to experiment more. Mostly I've just been trying to fill out stat passives, but those have even changed since the changes for Early Access.
All elemental dmg is always good, cold dmg obviously. I've been thinking about trying to put together a tanky frost mage build for slow utility in 3's but haven't pulled a kit together yet.
I LOVE cryomancer
It was my favorite in the playtest, I'm sure it still will be in Early Access too. Although, I'm kind of interested in Priest with the increased scaling
So I have started a cryo, would you instead use the new skill? As its pretty strong.
Also quite like the fire staff, would you say lightening is better or just preference?
I do agree the new q is pretty strong, but I still think Ice Storm is the way to go in group dungeons. The AOE pressure and slow is just too good to pass up in my opinion.
I've been playing Druid today and it has me coming around to the fire staff a little. Very good versus those Warriors and DK's who want to tank your ranged while shielding up. Get poke dmg in before the full on engage.
RMP WoW arena comp in Dungeonborne would be overpowered I bet lol
We did some RMP in the playtest, it was pretty fun actually. Priest seemed to struggle but we were very new at the time. Will have to revisit it, maybe in a future video!
i dont get it, u do 2 thunderstrikes and u kill them, i hit them with full q, 2 thunderstrikes, and all 3 heavy charges from magic sword and they dont die, what am i doing wrong?
Keep in mind, some of these fights were third party or surprise attacks. They could have already been low when we engaged
Gear also will change TTK on classes, their defense vs your offense. As well as whether they're blocking or not.
Ice storm seems too long to cast for solo, and the curse seems better
That has been my experience as well, but then curse slow lasts such a short time. It's definitely a give and take.
I've been playing cryomancer all this playtest (my 1st) and could not find content about it. I find difficult to improve. Any suggestions?
What parts are you finding difficult and I can give specific advice. Is it the pvp or the pve?
@@anotherlostomen i do pve with Fire staff and prefer lightning for pvp but i get too often beaten hard by melee players even before i can cast the icestorm. Seems like rogues doesnt esitate to pass through my lightnings to focus me and i feel like It cannot be i always have to ask for backup to a party member. Also i feel much in disadvantage when i've to push into a room of players, cuz the icestorm 1st stage can't go through props and its always difficult to strike a shot before the enemies does
Ok, so a couple of things to those specific problems. Ice storm is an incredible zoning tool, especially if you have the Int passive. So your first priority is to get that q down. It does a really good job keeping the melee away from you and if they do charge through it, then they will be lower hp and you can either lightning, or ice block and have your teammates peel for you.
The other thing is, I don't play Cryomancer on the castle map really. It just doesn't feel very good in areas with long sitelines and lots of clutter. It feels much better on Sinner's End because the rooms keep the fight at a mid range. Your ice storm has limited initial range when you throw it down, but you can send it way further than the initial casting range.
And lastly, I have been running double lightning staff to go all in on the AOE potential of Cryomancer. If I were playing castle or solo, I would probably use fire staff or sword and shield because of the long sitelines but inside the dungeon of Sinner's End, I don't really find that I need it.
what the differince with dark and darker
I personally enjoy the visuals more, besides that though, I think it's easier for more people to get into. The learning curve, while steep and engaging, isn't as much of an uphill climb as dark and darker.
I also enjoy the attack animations and combat more. None of that goofy distorted matrix dodging in this game.
I think both are great games, but possibly for different people
If it wasn't for the high ms I would probably have veen hooked to this game.. 120-150 ms playing as a rogue I can't hit those small monsters no matter how many times I spam attacks
Oh damn, really? What server? I play on US East with wireless internet and I'm staying around 65-80 ping
