"Honor" (8x09) was too damn emotional episode. I cried a lot, not only while I was watching it, but editing too. It's always so hard to actually say goodbye to a characters on your favorite TV show and I don't know why. It's a TV show and it's just a characters, you'd think. Not for me. This show has a huge impact on me and I actually grew up with it. And to honor Carl, the only thing I could do is to make a tribute for him. Thank you, Carl. Thank you, TWD. Thank you, people.

It was supposed to be Rick who showed his son the way,but it will be Carl's death that leads his fathers way.
I remember I used to dislike Carl. Not at first. In the beginning, he was an adorable kid happy to be with his Dad again. But during parts of Season 2 and 3, he became a bratty pain in the ass. I felt the less screentime with him, the better. Then that started to change in Season 4. Carl went from being a brat to a strong, decent young man full of promise. It's been that way more or so ever since. Now all that promise has been cut down by a stupid zombie bite. At least in the comics, we get to see some of that promise in action. Great video honoring Carl. I love the use of Hershel. I miss him and I'll miss Carl.

I never understood why people hated Carl. He was a KID. He was TEN years old stuck in an apocalypse where zombies literally eat you. A world where the majority of the population is wiped out. He goes through losing his friends pre-apocolypse, losing the only friend he had at the time post-apocalypse (Sophia), thinking he's lost his dad, had to put down his own mom, has to grow up very quickly in an unforgiving world that has him in danger more times than not.
He's gone through nearly getting raped, getting shot, the guilt of believing he's killed a beloved member of his group, seeing his fathers mistakes coming back to hurt the group in the end, so he ends up just trying to take a path that doesn't result in his surrogate families deaths.
Carl is very misunderstood from the earlier seasons, and I think people need to practice their empathy for a child who was dealing with shit most of us couldn't have dealt with in our adult lives, much less as children. of course he was immature sometimes, of course he didn't want to always listen. that's how kids ARE. I know I wasn't picture perfect either when I was his age. I think it's pretty silly to be annoyed with someone for being a realistic character.

Seasin 3 carl was the best and the strongest kid ever.. the things he had to do... he saw his mother being cut open and had to put her down.. and he still handled it better than rick at the age of 13.. he handled his mother's loss better than any adult handled loss of their loved one.. he was already a soldier in 3rd season..
The feels man Carl is still the best actor and character are the best

You should totally watch the show. The beginning isn't the best, but season 8 is super good!! All out war! You should check out some other characters like Maggie, and Negan's humor, and Rosita, and Daryl, and Tara.

The part that gets me the most in thinking about how we literally watched him grow up for 8 years
So mad that he is gone, but what a great death. After reading your descripton, i found someone just like me. I grew up with Carl. I started watching when i was 12, close to Carls age at All time. Now he is dead. Feels so weird, he was me on some sort of way. Thank you for this edit, it is so fucking amazing, take care friend. I've said it before, but ill say it again. You, will become something big one day, i promise. Keep at it! :)

I grew up with Carl, from the age of twelve, and it's weird, in my brain I kind of perceive him as a family member. Someone I truly loved. A constant variable in my life and now that they killed the character, I'll hear the name Carl and start uncontrollably weeping, he was weirdly a huge part in my life and there will always be an empty space in my heart for him.

Oh my god Nikolay, oh my sweet Jesus I'm bawling my eyes out, I can't control my tears, your best video by far, I can't profess, to understand Gimple's plan, I don't agree with Carl dying at all, but this video makes it almost worth it. The song choices, the parallels, visually and audio wise and just my god the coloring and tone, you never disappoint with your videos but this time you've seriously outdone yourself my dear friend, thank you. I for the most part have been extremely disappointed with the last two seasons of the show and I'm losing faith, we can only hope that Angela Kang will take it in the right direction, my point being is that you and your magnificent editing style and skill made 8x09 look very, VERY good when I felt it was really, really bad, excellent job, looking forward to more videos from you as always.

Oh my gosh! I literally can't deal... I'm a sobbing wreck right now! Carl started off so young but he grew so much as a person and became so mature! He had so much dignity and I am literally not ready to let go of his character! That episode had me in tears and this brought it all back - such an amazing video which really shows the TWD journey! This made me cry so hard! This was So beautifully done! I wish he could've been alive to see the new world. I wish he could've gone on those walks with maybe his future son one day. I wish he could see all the wonderful progress! what a difference he made to every character! How he impacted everyone! He died a hero. As sad as it is, we need to know, Carl did what he was meant to do. In my opinion, he beat that world. No matter what.
