Hi, Matt. This has been an incredibly helpful video. I’m coming up to 26 now, and don’t feel overly happy despite quite a lot of work and fingers crossed about to buy my third property Which has come at the expense of not socialising as much as I wanted to, having the relationships I wanted to have, we’re getting on with my family as well. It’s been quite relentless. This video has been an eye-opener, I’m still going to work hard, but definitely make a bit more room for the important things in life. Thank you very much, love the videos, very inspirational.
Good for you! Keep at it. It isn’t easy but worth it in the end. Just try and find a good balance so it isn’t all work, work, work.
I am going through the same thing right now… stuck in a huge rut. I’m a caregiver to my sick father, 40 years old, had to leave work to care for others. I want to do real estate but I’m honestly scared of failure at this point in life. It makes me happy knowing that there’s a way out and that others have made their life better after being stuck for years.

Hi Matt, I was delighted to hear that you have managed to "get your shit together" and feel so much happier as a result.
Your story reminds me of my life in the late 1980's. I was working in a job I started to hate, was paid a significant amount of money but not happy. Decided to 'jump off the roundabout" but before I did I wanted a final fling.
My lovely wife worked in the motor trade at the time and had connections with a leasing company who were planning a weekend sell-off of some nice metal. Long story short in 1989 I bought a 1988 Carrera 3.2 wide body cabriolet !!! Loved it to bits; had it for 6 months and sold it for a £4000 profit.
With the proceeds we bought a small farm in Scotland and started our new life.
Been living in France for the last 20-odd years and regret not a thing - life is for the living, not merely the surviving.

I know how it feels, having been running my own company for about 20 years - 24/7 and no holidays. Ended up in hospital last summer, with a stroke at age 52. Im now able to walk again, and I can even use a knife and fork (if Im not too tired). Lesson learned: never forget to enjoy life ! Congrats with the car - no worries about the extra ads 😉👍
All true had my stroke and was in a coma for 9 days time for me tp live

Congrats on that great looking AMG GT! I think it’s one of the best looking cars MB has put out. It reminds me of a modern version Porsche 928 GTS, except faster, more luxurious, and more fun to drive along with modern safety features. Enjoy every minute of it!

Congratulations on the mental and physical health improvements, Matt - a great result! The new car is lovely too. A guy I know used to have a 430 Scuderia. He always left it at work, so that if he had a bad day at the office, he'd drive the Ferrari home instead of his daily car - and that way he said he always arrived home after a bad day feeling great! You could do that too. :-) . In the meantime, I hope you enjoy your new car and look forward to your future videos.

I did the same thing, 16 hours a day, making money while all my friends were going out having fun... Got expensive stuff I never got to use, cars I never got to drive and now at 44 I am taking it easy wandering why I haven't done that before. Life goes by fast so treat yourself with EVERYTHING, cause one thing you don't want to own is regrets.

I've driven and worked on the SLS (and a few classic gullwings) and after all the Ferraris and Porsches I've had my hands on, the MBZ SLS is one of my fave cars of all time. The sound is phenomenal, performance of a supercar but the street manners to drive every day. That and your ride basically tick all the same boxes. She's a beauty and you deserve it! You're a hard working bloke! Enjoy!

Hello Matt, I think with whats been going on in the last year or so has affected all of us that are running small businesses, but there are some things you need to remember - you are the boss and no one can come in and just decide to get rid of you after all your hard work you have done building the business, having had that done to me several times in my life, which causes immense stress and worry, I now consider that to be the most important thing in running a business. Also consider all the people you help supplying them with a reliable and honestly described new motor, there lives and stress are going to be better as a result of your care and attention to the vehicles you sell them. We all have our heads down working hard, its not wasted years just look at what you have built - its a fantastic success! Enjoy your new car, I did a similar thing a few years back buying an XJ40 V12 6.0 to add to my collection - i should have kept it...........maybe one day I will get another............keep going you entertain us all!

I can really see you’ve lost weight, awesome job! I lost about 12kg last year from about February to early April and did me the world of good. You never think it’ll do much, but it’s quite remarkable how much it can change you as a person just shifting that bit of weight. After that I bought a very nice Skoda Superb, not the most luxurious car but better than my previous beaten up Nissan XTrail on 182,000 miles from 2003. Loving the channel recently, keep up all the awesome work!

Stunning car Matt, beautiful. I’m a relatively recent Mercedes convert, I’ve ordered a new CLA35 with the Premium Plus pack to replace my 2020 C300 (which I love). Not quite an AMG GT but still can’t wait for it to be delivered….sometime in May apparently!!

Matt, life is too short and you never know what tomorrow brings. Good for you and if you or anyone are in a position anytime in life to put a smile on you face, do it. I turn 60 very soon, was made redundant a year ago, scary time but thankfully I got back in to a job I enjoy and treated myself to a newer 5 year old car which was the right move for me because a few months later it still puts a smile on my face when driving and I even look back at it after I park it up (forgot to add, it’s the soul red colour, now you understand😁). Not bad for a 2.2L diesel AWD, but I love it. Ps, it’s also my first auto box (torque converter) what was I thinking all these years driving a manual.😆

Of all the cars you considered, only the Bentley or i3 would turn my head. But your machine is the pick of the bunch. Here in Prague, I've only seen a couple. Superb choice Matt and one I have considered strongly myself alongside my own Range Rover. I went 911 GT3 in the end because I really wanted a manual box, and haven’t regretted it but boy is the AMG a beautiful car. Only beaten for beauty by the Morgan Aero Coupe/Aeromax in my opinion.

My impression is that you enjoy the car journalism and occasional car rescue projects more than day to day used car dealing ? You produce great content on here and hopefully that will lead somewhere for you in due course but your content is so grounded in the used car business that if there's enough hours in the day you should try to keep all your plates spinning for now. If it makes you feel any better Mat, I passed my HGV when I was 21 and worked as a long distance driver until I was 29. The memories of the best years of my life are being parked in lay-bys and industrial estates, sleeping in a truck and eating fast food every day. I’ve worked driving HGV’sfor a supermarket for the last 7 years. Dropped all the weight, home every night and surrounded by dolly birds on my deliveries so things are better now. But it’s not just you who wishes you could turn the clock back

As for the Merc our new neighbour has one and I have dubbed him “the drug dealer”.I think he is an accountant.He has built a fortified gate at the side of his house for fear of getting it stolen.Every one in the road is upset at the noise it makes as he sets off for work.Nice car though.
Love the videos and absence of click bait. Having a 13 car garage finance by 10% dipper and interest only finance is simply boring. Good, honest, real world reviews. The sponsoring you have to do, to cover the time of putting these together, you are forgiven 😂.
