You aren't my teacher and I know this lecture wasn't for me but I'd like to thank you anyway.
You are most welcome. I'm glad it was useful for you.
Do you by any chance have a lecture on Philip Sidney, Astrophil and Stella sonnet 7??
I'm afraid I don't have one recorded. I recommend the following short summary: blogs.hanover.edu/astrophil/2012/10/19/astrophil-and-stella-sonnet-7/
Also, to note, is the central crux of the question of the sonnet is the paradox of beauty arising in what hitherto has not been considered beautiful (dark eyes or features). This trope is extended further in the "Dark Lady" sonnets of Shakespeare.
The Literature Channel thank you!
