    My best daiwa is a pro caster 100h . Works great. Yes I know it’s cheap but it’s a work horse.

    I use a cordless drill and a pencil to do the same thing, neat tool though

    I usually just put an empty line spool on a bolt and put it in a drill so I can save the line if I need it and it is very fast as well

    The Berkley version was $15 at a local fishing tackle store. And it has a hook sharpener sticking out the end as well. Hell, I actually bought it as a hook sharpener and then found out after that it had a line removal function integrated into it.

    Mmm how about using a powerdrill and mount an empty linespool, press button and presto... + the line can be recycled to another reel

  • @vinfish4697

    That’s pretty nifty and quiet really like how that line popped off

    The one problem with these things is that they are only designed to throw the line away! What about when you want to reverse the line or just save the line for another reel?

    • @THEREELTEST
      @THEREELTEST  6 лет назад

      if it was expensive quality line yes, but this cheap mono I buy in bulk im not worried about it

    How much line does a LMB reel need? About 150 yards, max.

    Hey I need your help: I want a baitcaster for lures from 5 grams to like 15ish grams and I cant decide between a curado/scorpion 70 or a Chronarch MGL

    • @THEREELTEST
      @THEREELTEST  7 лет назад

      the 70 will handle the lighter lures a little better but the MGL will be more versatile and cast the heavy lures better. Its also smoother and more refined.

    Wow clickbait. I thought it was going to be a steez or something new. I just use a dremel

      Johnny Jiang - "Wow clickbait" Yep, I thought so too... There are good Shimano reviews on other videos...

    • @wesleyhickman4325
      @wesleyhickman4325 7 лет назад +4

      It's not clickbait. He didn't say it was going to be a reel, he just said Daiwa

    • @rainzer0
      @rainzer0 7 лет назад

      Wesley Hickman ok technically not click bait. lol whatever still watched the whole video. Nice review

    • @videojoe7
      @videojoe7 7 лет назад +3

      Wesley - When one sees/hears the brand Daiwa, most don't think "line stripper." It's good to know they make a line stripper. The title is 'clickbait' and it was effective; served its subliminal purpose. 👌

    • @THEREELTEST
      @THEREELTEST  7 лет назад

      I just looked up a video on that, I can see the advantages for it because the line capacity is limited on this Daiwa. Wish I knew about it before I spent 30 plus bucks!

    I love how thorough you are with your reel tests. Would you consider doing videos on knots, like each knot with each type of line and line to line knots. I do know there is knot wars, but I would like to watch it with similar format that you use for your reel comparisons.
    Thanks for your videos.
