I love your music so much! I have heard every one a thousand times. Your music has driven me and often is the only music I can listen to when I’m in a bad space and can’t listen to music. Love you Orla!!! Love to see the building of your music

@@orlagartland thank you so much for replying. I’m not kidding when I say your music has saved me. When I was in a really toxic relationship your music was the only thing I felt like I could listen to because he monopolized my interests. I suffered though an ED issue and Woman on the Internet was there through all of my recovery and learning to love myself again. I can not wait to see all the music you make and all of the ways you continue to grow. Just absolutely adore you and the way you do your music thing. No one has truly made me feel so heard. I am so lucky to have came across your music cause it really did wonders for my life! 💕💕💕 seriously thank you 🙏

You're music is an intellectual delight and quite frankly, a masterpiece.
You've gotten me through a lot of difficult times and I felt like I could only express myself through music and your music was a healing outlet for me. From the dancing, to crying, to the highs and lows, I thoroughly appreciate your gift.
    Thank you Orla💗

Super fascinating to see all the work that went into making this awesomeness! I love that your producers are from opposing mindsets, digital and analog, you've found the musical goldilocks zone!

I would give so much to get a breakdown like this of all your songs :') Your musicality is beyond compare, I love getting to learn about all the different effects that go into each stem (and I especially love how you lean into the "weird" or "gross" when you need to!)
You'll always be my favorite artist, Orla -- keep rockin! (And I hope you can tour the US soon, I would kill to see ya!)

I like seeing bands live when they look like they are having fun and enjoy their music. Many studio recordings don't have that spirit in them for me.
But this song just sounds like fun and I really like it! Having heard this breakdown explains why I had that feeling! You had fun playing it, there went a lot of energy in the song and You seem quite happy with the result and rightfully so! Love it!

Been a fan for a while. Your album Woman on the Internet helped me get through my really rough first year of university! Your music has continued to help me through this year, which has been super challenging too (lots of loss in my family this year). So, thank you for doing what you do. Truly.
But I have to say, wow. This was so cool to see. I love it when artists show us a little bit about how something so cool got made.
    Thanks for making this!

I don't get what "in the style of"- assignments are supposed to be good for. I never learned anything useful by trying to emulate someone else's stylistic devices based on a surface-value impression of it. These technical construction insights are so much more useful coming from the artist directly. I wished they had taught me technique in art school, rather than just pointing at other people's work and then intellectualizing the wrong parts of it. Oh well.

Please get piece by piece on spotify. It's been on my top favorite songs to share with people for years. Or even Sixteen. I doubt you'll see this but shit it's worth trying. I just recommend piece by piece the other day, over 10 years and it still hits. Don't write off older music as garbage. You're a wonderful artist.

I was wondering about the monogamy line, comparing it with monopoly, also having the weird effect on it, and then on top of that just the general over-the-top maybe obsessive quality the speaker has, kinda frames that line as too extreme, so I kinda got that it wasn't meant 100% to be straight up.
