I think it’s the roots + some dimension of color. Platinum blonde is just white and no dimension.
it doesn’t look super different but the old hair was just straight up bleached platinum and this one is warmer in undertone because they put in butter blonde highlights/lowlights
I think it’s definitely still platinum blonde. It’s just a bit less solid white but it absolutely is still platinum.
